It is such a great hobby and when I fill them, like my December daily and put all of our pictures in and journal my husband just loves it. He will go back years and look at them. Journals are such a great keepsake. Our oldest son (32 yrs old) just got married and I am in the process of making them a wedding junk journal. It’s a challenge for sure, but a lot of fun. I don't use my Big Bite as often as I should; thank you for bringing yours out! I absolutely love the fabric you chose for the spine and closure (also coffee dyed). The papers are gorgeous - PERFECTION! Thank you for sharing! :)

Made them for 3 ladies so far now this one will be for my son in law as he will be laid up after a surgery. I figured why not and am adding lots of fun things and photos. I really enjoyed this video because I had a paper mailer like yours and knew I wanted to use it and you just showed me how to do so. Thank you. I have always only done once sewing in my signature but I dont think it holds it we over time so now I am going to do it twice lol
Love this. Have used the mailers but never exposed like this but covered with fabric. I do a three hole binding but have never done twice. Also don’t have that cropadile, (maybe someday), so just an awl to punch the holes and sew.

I love using padded envelopes as a base for journals! Also, I've only ever sewn the binding once. Ive never had a problem.
