I used to be a big big spartusk fan....until the nerf. Now I find it's just a liability. I've tried hard to keep it in my BG arsenal since then, really really tried but it's just not a good option....for me anyway. You have a different opinion which I respect but don't agree with. I explain why. It works effectively against two classes, Barb and Sader for the most part and only counters their skill buffs. It would be nice if that's all that Barbs and Sader rely on, but that just isn't true. BG's often have a mix of many of the other classes. All classes get some kind of non skill based (gems, paragons, saviours, green and leg sets buffs) cc and damage reduction and immunities which Spartusk is now totally useless against. Pop spartusk, nothing happens, then you get chains CC'd and stunned then you get splattered. Rinse and repeat. Even as a lower reso player (I'm under 3k) I still find Heartless Terror as my go to helmet. Lets me run past all the red circles of death and plant my butt at the idol for 10 seconds while I wail away with my HOTA. By this time other members of the team have come in also to aid. I have completely turned matches around that we looked like we would lose by just running to the idol without getting CC'd. I used to do the red circle dance with Spartusk, but BG has a hard time limit and I can't waste time dancing around circles as a strategy if spartusk no longer works as it once did. Most times you just need to get to the getting esp when the clock is running down. It's not perfect but it advances my team because other than Undying Rage, I also have gladiator, saviour, green and leg item and gem buffs which keep me standing up for a long time, (which other barbs with Spartusk cannot dispel, while I'm smacking them) while the idol moves without being continually frozen, knocked back, stunned, etc etc.
@@arthurgiannakis2156 yeah, for HOTA if you are running them down, Heartless may be better, but for idol fights Spartusk if still king. We can agree to disagree, but other classes aren’t really a issue around the idol whenever you trying to push or defense the idol tho. Just whoever kills the other tanks first, are able to push faster, that simple. Thank you for your insight ❤️

In addition to what you shared to be successful in BG, there are more advance skills such as reading the map after respawning, timing to engage and disengage battle to maximise effectiveness, and when to dive and sacrifice for the team. It is also to note that passive skills such as increased movement speed from set items are not debuff in PVP content that can make a difference in PVP. Yeah, I know a few “tricks” but stilll sometimes that is a lot of things that I do instinctively bc I got PvP experience and I take for granted. I will take a bit more care and try to compile some content like that for the future, but however all, it’s all about improving mindset inside the BGs Don’t let them break you ❤️

I really love HotA/Terror/Sprint build for chasing backlines. It works fine in lower rating brackets. But other Barbs with Spartusk are your cancer imo. And when climbing way above 3k there‘s nothing than Spurtusk 99% of the time. Sadly.
Ahaha true, but as a lower reso I will tell you the main issue at 4500 rating and play vs 8/10/12k whales is that your hammer doesn’t even BREAK THEIR SHIELDS 🤣 they are just too beefy for us
Dude to use 1 shot u need be undying u need pull players at u and just jump on them when they beside u etc.... also I believe u need 6p of banquet or 4 of mount for longer life...
You only need 6x Banquets for HotA builds. I think you missed the main point with HotA for me at 4700 rating is that my hammer doesn’t even break their thick sheilds 🤣🤣 However it was a very fun build to climb from bronze to Legend when you reso and secs are matches, but after 3500. That’s not a thing any longer. I hope it a bit more clear
Yeah, but it's -66% in PvP and shields with my low reso are like a job, also shields don't make me trigger Bergbreaker which is a problem. If I would go full shield mode, I would need to be a bit higher reso to have like 450k-500k hp and change to Sundered Legacy
More than reso you have to look at your Secundaries? Specially Armor Pen and my main issue was that after 4K rating I couldn’t do any dmg with the hammer to the big whales or even protect the idol. So this build became so much better
@@IndezYT I have like 3.8k armor pen, can do up to ~4.2 But I mainly play dh so it’s kinda different mechanics with barb, I feel like I’m too weak with all my actual builds

Berserker doesn’t have attack speed whenever you use certain essences like Bergbreaker, Sundered Legacy or Roar of Persuation. Check the description of the essence for more info ❤️
Spartusk is only for ppl above 3000-5000 k . If u lower then that u cant even press the skill you insta dead . I am lower reso tried this helm i got destroyed . With other helm i can at least break CC immunity and swing couple of times .
Then I think you are going kamikaze 🤣 because you wanna play smart with your Demo and engage or use at the right time vs other barbs and yes, it happens sometimes but not all the time xD If you are 3-5K then you go heartless bc you wanna go to the back line, if you are playing idol, Heartless is useless

BGS is a definitely a tough place to play if you are weak mentally. You gotta have a GLADIATOR mindset! Lose? Reflect on what happen and go next without shaking. I rarely lose but also I have ALOT of PvP experience from WoW arenas at the highest level so this game is a walk in the park 🤣❤️
@@IndezYT Man, I'm starting to really Enjoy BG's now. I even had my first MVP since I started because of you and craine play's tutorials and builds!! It's really satisfying. I also played a lot of Mobile MOBAS back then and the new barb builds just fit my playstyle which are more focused on winning the game by focusing on objectives/ support/ tank
I'm running the exact same build with spartusk helm but abit tanky. Focus more on armour/armour pen and resistance. 1. Paragon -Brawler 2. Set item -4 vithu's + 4 mountbank 3. Barier reforge -Block/hp/damage reduce (+Benefial effects) 4. Curse -6 nettled + 2 lashed 5. Gem -BSJ, Hope, Void, Roilling, Shard, Heart, Spite, BOTW (2840 reso) Been doing great in BG! Focus standing on idol and chill lol. More survivability = more fun! Well atleast for me. 😅
If it works for you, keep it up - for me, I don’t survive eitherway with this reso even if I go brawler or Glad - too low hp, shields are too small so they are worthless
@@FP606 yes also Bergbreaker doesn’t work while you have shields or Crusader bubble - so if you go defensive and shields, Sundered Legacy is better brother ❤️
Ok, I got sick so i won’t be probably playing until the next days, let’s see what I can get for you brother. I can always remove Rending Bite MH and the Falling Thunder and go with this setup, it’s pretty good, I used it in the past. And focus on camping middle, this is very strong there

Reminder, reso doesnt make you tough. High armor and resistance do. So low reso can be tough.
Yes, also tough mindset - even if you lose, you don’t break - Be a Gladiator mindset

BGS is a definitely a tough place to play if you are weak mentally. You gotta have a GLADIATOR mindset! Lose? Reflect on what happen and go next without shaking.
I rarely lose but also I have ALOT of PvP experience from WoW arenas at the highest level so this game is a walk in the park 🤣❤️

I also played a lot of Mobile MOBAS back then and the new barb builds just fit my playstyle which are more focused on winning the game by focusing on objectives/ support/ tank

I'm running the exact same build with spartusk helm but abit tanky. Focus more on armour/armour pen and resistance.
1. Paragon -Brawler
2. Set item -4 vithu's + 4 mountbank
3. Barier reforge -Block/hp/damage reduce (+Benefial effects)
4. Curse -6 nettled + 2 lashed
5. Gem -BSJ, Hope, Void, Roilling, Shard, Heart, Spite, BOTW (2840 reso)
Been doing great in BG! Focus standing on idol and chill lol. More survivability = more fun! Well atleast for me. 😅
If it works for you, keep it up - for me, I don’t survive eitherway with this reso even if I go brawler or Glad - too low hp, shields are too small so they are worthless
@@IndezYT Yeah, i understand. For low reso it's better to maximize damage. Will benefit more for the team!
@@FP606 yes also Bergbreaker doesn’t work while you have shields or Crusader bubble - so if you go defensive and shields, Sundered Legacy is better brother ❤️

I can always remove Rending Bite MH and the Falling Thunder and go with this setup, it’s pretty good, I used it in the past.
And focus on camping middle, this is very strong there
