I always wondered who was this towering figure behind Bob holding a guitar in all his concerts.
At some point I thought he had passed until I discovered his name is Junior and he's alive and kicking.
The guy is blessed with good health and appears not to have caught up in the drugs Web which wasted many in his generation.
He's a wonderful guy and hope he tours Kenya soon.
    Nuff respect 🙏 Junior Marvin.

They are duplicate of thier own spirit double, not Bob Marley. Bob is diplicate of his own spirit double.Reggae has many masters aka Kings and Queens. Before Bob and the Wailers it was the ancestral trans rythmn( kujina, myal, rival, poco, burru, lamentations (blues) etc) and words sound then came ska and reggae and legend like Jimmy cliff. Given every man thier credit. Euemelanin black people are multi talent intuitive spirited people. Its innate.

Wow this was a awesome interview and I learned a lot about how their songs came together and a lot about Junior himself. I have a couple of documentaries on Bob but they never talked about the real reason he had to leave Germany while getting treatment although the documentary touched on some of it i wouldn't have imagined it was because they were feeding him and it compromised his treatment. I guess everyone has their perspective of what and how they remember things. Overall he gave a great history lesson.

A very dear gentleman. Lucky to meet Familyman and Jr. A couple of times! Magestic Warriors had just come out. One in INS at MIA that he got harrassed: his UK passport was three passports linked by official ribbons.. UK style. The officer got jealously angry. I had to explain to the Supervisor who Jr was... he was released right then.
It looks like he got harrassed by the usual suspects - black listed. Jr invited me to an incredible unforgettable private concert in SoBea.. The Wailers doing a private party!!
A blessed heart, we owe Jr Marvin. Hard to find those Wailer album, and on DVD Jr actually would hide in an unlit corner.
Ps he was in The Prisoner w Patrick McGoohan ?!

What about the band in the Playboy Club ca 1968? 'Junior' it was called I believe. I first met Junior at that time. His keyboard playing was fat! And 1973 (replacing guitarist Paul Pena), when he joined T-Bone Walker's Bluesband in Chicago, and played in the band for more than a year! He brought the Blues into Reggae. His guitar playing was awesome! I was T-Bone's producer & manager at the time. Robin Hemingway www.jitneyjanesongs.com

1:06:48 nope, Bob Marley was assassinated by the CIA the agent that killed him confessed to killing bob, but he confessed on his death bed , he didn't want to kill Bob he liked Bob but he'd had to do it, Bob was 1 of a list of people that would be silenced, some were journalists some were doctors some were musicians, the u.s government killed Bob Marley, they feared that he would create a black movement in America, junior Marvin hinted at his assassination by mentioning shoes, that's how the CIA killed him , the agent was posing as a leading photographer for the Times, he gave Bob Marley a pair of shoes and imbedded into the sole of the shoe was a copper spike that was contaminated with a cancer causing disease and the agent also oversaw bobs medical treatments to insure he would die, junior Marvin and the rest of the family and the wailers don't want to be silenced either that's why they won't tell you how Bob really died,
