That top is cool. Taking the hard top off a 4dr is such a pain due to its weight and general awkwardness. I had no idea RealTruck had bought up so many other companies.
The top really is super cool and to be able to take it apart piece by piece before taking off the actual top is a game changer. And really, you could just leave it on as a kid of safari top if you wanted and I think it would still look cool. As far as RealTruck goes, they were Truck Hero up until the early part of the year but yeah, they've gobbled up a TON of companies.
@@wayalifePlease ask HardTop if a built-in low profile LED lightbar CAN BE BUILT INTO the front upper part of the hard top canopy that has user selectable brightness levels from 2000 lumens all the way up to 100,000 lumens. Allow for both spotlight and floodlight options at all lumens/brightness levels. Great content as always. I've watched this video at least 5 times just for the modular hard top. With the removable glass sunroofs too, I know people would love to be able to buy that today!!! Can't wait for that one.
Glad that we could share this with you and happy to know you've been enjoying our coverage of SEMA. Hope you'll tune in again this evening for our Day 3 coverage.
You sir are making it very difficult to stay away from my local Jeep dealership 🤨…😎. That top is cool but I don’t know how well it would hold up to some of the hail storms we have here in Oklahoma. The 392 looks awesome enjoy your time there.
Totally understand where you're coming from if only for the loss of space but this one just feels right. Looks clean, looks factory and it really does come with a lot of really nice features.
Great video, thanks for the walkthough. Also, love the plug for the CB Bar, I've had mine now for over a year, and have transitioned like you from CB to GMRS. I also mounted my S-Pod controler up on mine above the divers position for ease of switching while driving.
I like the Rugged Ridge Metal Max Fender Flares but I noticed there is a gap between the Light Tube and the metal channel it fits in on top and bottom. Also on the Metal Max version the Top of fender flare doesn't reach as high up on fender to meet Rubicon height or their plastic Max Terrain fender flare does.
Sorry, not a fan. Not even a little and there's no way I'd purposefully use up the precious little space that I have in my Jeep by putting a massive spare tire inside of it. Also, it's too ghetto for my nice 392 but then, that is just me.
Though I have not see many videos yet on the Tacomas at sema this year, does it look like the after market was able to get a jump start on many products for the 2024?
Question: Looking at the hard top you showed at the beginning of the video; for us that have a factory soft top, do you know if we have OEM wiring or plugs to connect a hard top (OEM or otherwise) if we later chose to purchase one? I have a 09 JKU Sahara, OEM soft top. Thanks for any info.
Damn now this hard top is nice buuut . I’d I’ve to sell mine before getting this one 😅. Just spit balling this , looks like the vector off-road tray I just installed would not fit with this top. Looking closely at the video it looks like it’s braced by the roll bar where I’d mount the vector anywho so they wouldn’t be compatible, that or the side bags I just installed from amasyinglife. Either way very cool product
I would give the Real Truck website a look. Typically, they tend to show only products that they make. If I could guess, they are from their Rugged Ridge line.
Man that top is cool, gonna look out for that. Curious how the construction is cause the max terrain fenders were flimsy and broke easily for me. Look good but flimsy as can be.
Well that's a bummer to hear about your fenders. As far as the top goes, I can tell you that it feels just like a factory hard top in terms of material.
Cool, yes! would it improve my life? NO. I can think of many things that give me far better returns per dollar than trying to impress others with shiny objects.
LOL - we attend the show as media and are allowed into the show ahead of the crowds. But, that said, I'd be lying if I said the show wasn't a bit thin this year. I know the economy is supposed to be great and all right now but you can't make this stuff up.
Always some of the best coverage of SEMA right here!
Truly appreciate you saying as much and glad to know you've been enjoying our SEMA coverage so far. Hope you check back in this evening for more 😎

One day I will get to Sema, until then I'll get my fix from your great coverage.

Still standing by for that RealTruck modular hardtop
Can’t wait to find that gladiator
Well nothing to make fun of this time !!! Looks like some awesome products coming this way soon !!
You got that right!
Not a huge fan of the fastback tops but I like that one, especially how the sides come off and it has the skylights. Also those Ohlins are sweet…

Those ohlins shock prices for the wrangler were pretty reasonable
Honestly, they're right in there with their competition and I personally feel they ride better.

Glad you enjoyed it. Hope you'll check back later today for more coverage from the show!

Glad you're liking what you're seeing 😎
Love the Rugged Ridge bumper and tire carrier. Been waitin’ for that. If they price it at $1800 for complete kit I think they’ll sell a lot.
I think so too
That top is rad
It really is.
Like those wing gates for that gladiator might have to buy it and it's not bad priced
It really is a nice setup

I wanted the first thing I saw. That top is dope.
LOL - I totally agree
Did he mention what the name of that top was going to be? I'd like to keep an eye on when that goes to market.@@wayalife
I believe he referred to it as being a fast back hard top for JL@@bryonlippert5530

The shovel on the RR gladiator looks bad ass. Who makes it? Where can I find out more info?
I apologize for not asking.
What are your thoughts on the gate keeper spare tire carrier by excessive industries? Would you or have you considered one for your 392?
Sorry, not a fan. Not even a little and there's no way I'd purposefully use up the precious little space that I have in my Jeep by putting a massive spare tire inside of it. Also, it's too ghetto for my nice 392 but then, that is just me.

Though I have not see many videos yet on the Tacomas at sema this year, does it look like the after market was able to get a jump start on many products for the 2024?
From what I've seen, I don't think so. There's stuff out there for sure but not too much.
👍👍
When you say soft coil? What kind of brands or rates should we be looking at? Also any reference codes for online ohlins purchase
I personally prefer EVO plush ride or Rancho. Most non-overland coils or HD coils are NOT what you’d want to pair them up with.
See any extra large/wide Trailer Tow mirrors for a JT/JL for those of us who tow wider travel trailers?
Sorry, not as of yet but if I come across something, I'll be sure to include it in our video or in a post on wayalife.
Rebound adjuster knob goes to 11... is that a Swede thing?
🤣 spinal tap
Is that DANA80 available in front axle configuration too?
Just the front. I don't know if you'd really want something that big up front.
Cant find the light bar on the hood anywhere.
❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed see this :)
Does the swing arm tire mount on that gladiator bumper block the back up camera?
Yes. You would need to relocate the camera onto the gate.

It is nice for sure.
Anyone know what kind of lights up top on the matchbox gladiator?
I would give the Real Truck website a look. Typically, they tend to show only products that they make. If I could guess, they are from their Rugged Ridge line.
Will the hard top be for 2 door aswell?

They do not make the Jeep aerodynamic and you end up losing storage space.
