Marksman IDPA July 2022 Match

Shot the July IDPA match at the Marksman using a revolver, of all things. (Actually, almost 50% of the people shooting were using a revolver at this match, which just means that apparently people with mental illnesses band together.)
First time shooting my new 686 SSR Pro in a match (and it hasn't been to the gunsmith yet) and it certainly showed. I screwed up my reloads twice, costing me a total of 8 seconds which really kills you in a competition.
Had more fun than I expected, though. While I actively enjoy shooting revo in Steel Challenge and have a good time shooting it in ICORE, I don't enjoy shooting it in USPSA, and IDPA is similar to that---and also restricts you to a lower-capacity revolver. Given IDPA's lower round count, though, it was still fun. Mostly because there were plenty of other revo guys there also.
Next time I'm going back to Carry Optics, though. :)
(But yes, I'll shoot Revo again in IDPA at some point in time.)
