I love hearing fantastic Canadian music. I love that our country is so big and wide and diverse but music made by guys from Halifax stretches all the way out to Vancouver, where its just as loved. It's my kind of patriotism.
This has to be one of my favorite songs ever! Im lovin' it! I was blown away by it when Hockey night in Canada used it for one of thier montage's last year in the playoffs!
These guys are playing real instruments, unfortunately they can't compare to synth pop these days... These guys are really talented and deserve to be noticed. Not just the talent behind the song, but the talent behind the video. It's not some 'wangsta' throwing money at the camera with scantily clad women dancing around. Props to everyone involved with this video as well as the production of the song.

I know I'm an unknown artist amid loads and loads of talented singers/musicians out there (especially in Canada), and it's really out of the blue writing this, but I would TOTALLY be honoured if you made a video for one of my songs one day. But back to the video for Wintersleep's Weighty Ghost - you seem to know a thing or 2 about video-editing! :D Amazing work - great video for a gem of a song!

@Canuckofithaca Ha, ha. I don't know. There is something about it I suppose. However I would like to say cheers to the Canadian music scene for kicking serious ass lately. Rock is dead as dead can be in the US. New Inheritors is an amazing album, but if this song was on it I would throw it in the trash.
This song is amazing... too bad all their songs aren't as stellar. Bit of a one hit wonder band. But still... they nailed it on this one!! One of my favorite songs!
I'm foot tapping to this song, as I see the 'recommendation' for the bloodhound gang and lfmao, ummm...I came to this page for real music, stop reminding me of the crap that's out there thanks. I just need to turn on a radio or MuchMusic or MTV to hear the BS thanks.
