Fantastic. Now I have to worry about- "Sorry, Honey, when I went downstairs to get a drink last night the toaster laughed and I shot it. Those damn Decepticons."
I just finished watching the 29 networking videos included in this section. I just wanna say thank you for your hard work and the way you teach things.. I've learned alot of useful stuff and I'm looking forward into the other sections of your channel. Now about this video, nothing against you but if this video should be renamed to "Introduction to the beginning of Skynet". I am against incorporating networking to every devices because we have way too many security flaws to deal with nowadays to considere such a thing. Bruteforcing and ddosing is still too much of a threat to gives devices total control over everything.
Hey Elie, my uncle is a cable guy and he was telling me how they are making a new type of satellite thingy, is suppose to be better the satellite, cable, and fios. He said it is faster then all of them but that is all he gave me. Do you know anything on this?
I don't think this would happen all that fast. There would be too much security issues for everyday use that need to be solved before even implementing wireless chips. Business wise however, there are tons of possibilities. Full automation would be possible on a business scale. Your farming example is perfect for this. You could build massive automated farms that send information to a server which automatically grows, controls and harvests the crops. The sci-fi geek in me is getting excited.
hi eli, I had a question, I wanted to get into the internet security business later on. Currently I'm 18 and i'm going to be a freshman in college studying computer science. What role do u think the internet security will play as we move into the Internet of Everything? thanks i'm a big fan and enjoys all of ur videos.
Hi, Eli I'am big fan of you and have few questions for you. Does this mean that if all "SMART THINGS" will have routable IPv6 and can't be firewall'ed and secured? Like if you want to know what your sneaker thingy show you look at label on it which will tell it's IP ant you then put it in server or whatever? This mean that hackers can find your sneaker IP ant they potentialy will know where you run and how much and so on.. P.S. I'am from non english speaking country.
Can some tell me categorically how i can benefit from this as a business person/organisation…… as in a practical business gain cos i need to do a presentation on this concept
Hey Eli.. i am planning to build a career in IT and this looks like a real HOT market to start working with... the only problem is i cant really figure out where to start Im kind of really looking forward to doing a business based on it but along with the technical side as well... any kind of tips would be highly appreciated. Thank You Love the Classes Big Fan God Bless :-)
Got it wrong that IoE is bi direction and IoT is one direction. IoT can also do bi-direction or interactive. Basically IoT = networked connection of physical devices, while IoE = Networked connection of people, process, data and things. Thus IoT is a subset of IoE.
Eli, I have to be honest, you are kind of my role model. I REALLY enjoyed all of your networking videos. However, I did start liking you a little less when you introduced, what I consider, too much politics into this class lecture. To have you look with disdain at people who may be opposed to pesticides as "tree huggers" and portray them as sort of irrational was disappointing to me as a student wanting to learn about networking/IT. There are many good reasons to look askance at pesticides, and the reasons are based in science. Science, computers, logic, I don't know these kind of go together for me, as an analytical person. I realize that you were having a bit of fun with the issue, but to me it kind of came a little too close to stereotyping. Hope I'm not being too hard on you :) And I will still enjoy your classes, but hope that they stay in the neutral zone. (And, I reeeeeeally hope you're not one of those who thinks global warming is all an elaborate hoax. If I see that in the next "Hacking DNS" video, well, I might just have to like you a little less.)
Fantastic. Now I have to worry about- "Sorry, Honey, when I went downstairs to get a drink last night the toaster laughed and I shot it. Those damn Decepticons."
Sounds like the beginning of Matrix :) Thanks for excellent explanation. Great job!
Love you Eli for this wonderful series...respect.
It's gonna be like Heaven on Earth ;)
Good stuff, Boss.
This was an excellent series of lectures. It taught me the fundamental concepts of networking in an easy-to-digest and lively fashion! Thank you, Sir!
Do you have plans to make an updated course/video on IoE?
Very cool. Thanks for simplifying the concept.
I did a class on "The Internet of Things"... this is different... cooler... scarier... ;)
Cisco is one of them.
ahhh... I did the class on "The Internet of Things" which is actually different then "The Internet of Everything"...

haha, truthfully there could be a skynet "nsa" based network for that very soon.
Excellent video Eli, you are excellent technology evangelist.
Eli where can I learn more about this? I wanna know what companies are behind this technology? Thanks, your awesome.
Since we're so good at securing our networks nothing could go wrong by making all of our appliances and machines IP addressable.
that's for the speed in delivery , that's beginner do u have a vid on intermediate

This is most excellent, thank you.
Astounding technology. However, the Big Brother implications are frightening.

Am sure really cool ideas will come from these new abilities in a near future

Eli, You Just nailed it.
you just made matrix, inception easier to understand :P

Excellent explaination .
I want to cry when listening to these nightmares.
Nice explanation.
The sarcasm? It was a legitimate question ..
Didn't you already make a video about these tags? LOL I am just wondering, because I feel like I know the future now.
Not necessarily. I suppose he meant exactly that way. But yeah, it may be a typo.
thanks alot subscribed because of this video
its just how mush will cost to maintain this technologies
Maybe your monitor was turned off all the time.
Eli: which company I should invested in?
good one, i really tried to flick a bug off my pc.
Ahhhh ok. They are different. Thanks
Thanks Eli :)
something cool
^^ this guy is (really)* good. A++++
Thanks
What do you mean about "That was not necessary"? If you're correcting my sentence, then you did it absolutely wrong. That wasn't what I meant.
Am I the only one who has never seen that message about same IP addresses?
ALL AutoMagicly!

This is not a Beginner level class. The theme is way to complicated.
Just don't let GLaDOS talk to the Neurotoxin Generator via TCP/IP, bleh....
than*
I am viewer 10000! :-)
I would highly recommend figuring out what people meant before start fixing their sentences.
he looks like jason sthathason
Haha works everytime ;)
Pretty sure you covered this topic already. Good stuff tho. Adios
That was not necessary.*
Lol
uh-oh...where's your wedding ring?...i notice it's gone....hope all is well!
Why the stupid sarcasm? I just never got that message and I've been using many computers on many networks for a long time.
1st comment!
