So I just tried GDB’s Impossible Animations Elder Scrolls JH, and does anyone else have an animation issue where after the first 2 swings of a weapon, every swing after your character does not move forward? He just attacks in place. I have all the required mods, and I have changed the order of the mods multiple times, but I cannot fix it. And I do have GDB at the bottom of all the other animation mods as stated in the video. If Maxwell or anyone else knows how to fix this I would appreciate any help. EDIT: Bracca just updated the Mod, but the issue with being unable to move forward after the first 2 swings of a weapon still persists. Also both before and after the update, Killmoves, both Vanilla and ones added by Violens, do not function at all, the animations just never occur. Also a new issue after the new update is any mods that replace weapons sounds, such as Immersive Sounds Compendium, do not work now unless they are placed BELOW GDB’s Impossible Animations JH, where before they do could be placed above and work fine. I’m just typing this all here so if anyone else has any of these issues I’m having, you are not alone. I really like the Mod and will continue to tinker with it, but this is really frustrating to figure out. One final note, though I cannot tell if it is a bug or if it is intended, every NPC does not use JH combat animations, they have the weapon idles, but not the actual swinging animations, only the player character does. The NPCs still have Vanilla attacking Animations. Again if that part is intentional than my mistake. If you are seeing this Maxwell, or if anyone else can also help or shed light on anything, I, and I’m sure some others would appreciate it.
@@diggzdiggz2400 I know im late by 3 months, but try putting the mod at the bottom of the load order. Just don't place it under the XP32 maximum skeleton or any other mod that is required to be at the bottom.

Hey Maxwell, Congrats for the channel, you've helped me massively, thank you very much. I have an issue maybe you can help me with. I'd like to overhaul Skyrim's combat but I find every overhaul a bit too clanky, with a rough integration in consoles (dodge mod, for example) and, above all, the animations very rarely convince me, they seem to move at an abnormally fast pace compared to vanilla and they feel unnatural to me. I hope you get what I mean. My main objective when I mod now is that everything looks as seamless as possible, because otherwise it breaks my immersion, I feel like I'm seeing the innards of the game and it looses its magic. I think like this about almost every aspect of modding, I'm going more and more to a vanilla+ type of LO + anything that is lore friendly, seamlessly integrated and realistic rpg/life-simulator-like. I've tried hardcore overhauls but now I got to a point that I rather quality, simplicity and homogeneity over crazy revamps. I think its just fair to say that I'm a bit OCD to portray everything better. Could you point me in the right direction? Do you have any advice or insight about this? I'm all ears, specially with the issue of combat and game mechanics enhancements and addons. Thank you for your time and thanks again for your work with this channel. Best.
Offt big question, like Chia said definitely easier over on the discord but I can try here, Where are you at with your order.... assuming you have the likes of; Frostfall, Campfire and iNeed (or realistic needs and diseases), Hunterborn... Animations can be wonky and I dont particularly think there are any that are going to be realistic or Immersive, certainly not any that change the style for realism in terms of contact made or how sword fights really work (some include TCGs Advanced Combat which has a module for collision but even then it's not perfect). Basically where are you at an I'll try and help you from there
I like Skyrim mods but combat mods are annoying because they make you level up too fast sometimes. I found a mod recently called YASH2 it was recalling but it made you do too much damage which was op.
Just a question I installed untarnished ui and in the wait and sleep menu I can't adjust the time spent doing it... I originally thought it was another ui mod conflicting with it so I disabled that and it still doesn't work. Do you know whats wrong with it by chance?
Would something like Verolevi animations aio be redundant with ESCO? And which mod should over ride the other when it comes to the two combat packs ? Thank you 🙏🏻
I have only ever seen this happen because of placement in relation to UDM with NordWarUA Armors, If you have those or mods involving them try and reverse the order you have the two in

So 2 questions if anyone can help. #1: In a lot of my Load Orders I use Wildcat and Mortal Enemies as separate mods, just those 2. ESCO sounds intriguing but my question is, if I were to use ESCO, I could delete the separate Wildcat and Mortal Enemies mods because they would be redundant with ESCO correct? I just wanted to clarify, as I like these 2 mods, and if they both work within ESCO about the same, I’ll be happy with that, as well as the new additions of course. If any one can let me know if they would be redundant and can be removed I would appreciate it. #2: This Question is more for Maxwell specifically however if others know the answer please do chime in, the question is, in regards to how Untarnished UI appears in this video, did you just add Untarnished on top of ScryUI? Or was there a patch involved somewhere? Because I noticed that on the top center of the screen there is a Vanilla looking health bar for Enemies, and I know ScryUI normally removes that. So does adding Untarnished UI bring back that health bar? Or was a patch used to revert some changes of ScryUI to allow the changes of Untarnished UI? Basically I just want mine to appear like it does here in this video. If you see this Maxwell I would appreciate any information regarding this, though again if others know this answer I would appreciate that help as well. Both of the mods would be redundant because their features are being covered by ESCO I'm not using a Patch I happen to be using ScryUI Untarnished UI In that order and I'm getting the effect you see on screen, I also have Enemy Health Indicators lower down
Huge downer on the “Combat mods” most players want to improve the “vanilla combat”. For combat mods to be your main click pic, very disappointed at only 2 recommendations that were poor. There are several AI combat mod enhancements you could have talked about.

Also having this issue and sometimes the jumping animation. Attacking animation can cause the character to just freeze briefly. Did you find a fix?

I've honestly never used the FPS boost for more than 5 minutes on the game, depends on how stable and smooth you're finding it though

Tbh i prefer gdb elden beast since it includes more things and has multiple animations for each weapon types form which you can choose from

you'll be able to use verolevi with esco & gdb. just make sure esco is with your other combat stuff and gdb at the bottom of your lo
