Thanks for posting this. My son and I followed your video and performed this replacement yesterday on our Clio. Fan is working perfectly now. Just for your viewers thinking of embarking on this, finally getting the motor out does seem impossible at first even with the clutch off and the steering column dropped. However, on the far side of the motor inside the fan section, there is a recess and you can use this to navigate around the annoying bulk head piece shown in the video. Once you know the trick you can get the motor in and out without any blood, sweat or tears, and certainly without forcing it. Just some encouragement for those attempting this.... thanks again for the video.
Thank you for this - gave me the confidence to try it, but I am stuck on the clutch pedal removal - how do you remove the three prong plastic clip on the master cylinder ball joint?
Very helpful video. I'm going to do the same job 'cos my mechanic gave up. Thanks.

Gently with a flat head screwdriver
All sorted - thank you so much 😀@@portsmouthlivemusic
I'm having the same issue. Can't figure out how it's supposed to come off!
It's because it's RHD, a LHD is a doddle from the passenger side with no steering column, pedals etc in the way
It's because it's a shit Renault
How did you get the new one back in without breaking it?
Easily , just be careful not to damage fan blades on column mount.
Think I had the same issues with water getting in. How do you prevent it happening again
Just keep the skuttle drains clear, ask for them to be check when you have it serviced.
Could you plz confirm me the model number?
Of what?
