@MEAT ROCK Id be more inclined to believe that if: 1. The triggers weren’t so goddamned loud. 2. Virtuoso heel toe looks like floating and bouncing your legs sorta off the pedals, not super tiny movements of the legs with loud mixing

Theres a few spots where it doesn't match the audio. Im guessing they did multiple takes and took the best audio and best video. Im sure everything isn't played 100% perfect everytime.

Yes. At least on the kicks. Can be seen easily at 1:29 when the left foot and beater stop moving but the sound continues. Hands I'm 100% certain are real. Dude is a beast but the kicks are quantized
Those feet look suspicious... at 1:29 his left foot stops moving but the bass drum keeps playing, even the beater stops moving. I don't doubt the hands at all but the feet im seriously doubting rn. Atleast the higher speeds, the slower, modest speeds he's 100% on

Yeah I noticed that too kind of weird there was a slight pause in the leg but not in the sound. It really irritates me when drummers want their playthroughs to be edited so perfectly it's almost like they're incapable of making a mistake😂

ya, the endless snares at 127 velocity even though he's holding the stick at varying heights, the toms with an unnatural attack that sounds exactly like superior drummer, sound without strikes from the beater on the kick, every snare hit sounding like a god damn rim shot.
Its so obviously edited, and people eat it up like its not. He can play, and im sure it would pass for a decent live performance. But passing off this quantized machine as his natural playing is deceptive.
If anyone doubts me play the video at 50% speed. listen to those toms, watch the beaters. He didnt play this.
@@Lectwar6 nobody said this was a drum cover? It's a playthrough and he can clearly play this. A lot of musicians do this. Since he wrote the song there's really no need for him to record it once again. Look at cuntcrusher by aaron kitcher or scarab/genesis från northlane, I see nobody crying in those comments for the mistakes made in those videos.
Yeah that thing at 1:28 clued me into it, but just watching it, yeah he makes i tlook effortless, because its not taking him any effort. I love the song, great song, but if youre gonna program the drums, then why go to the effort of having an actual drummer. And if you feel like you need a drummer for the theatrics, then at least have him be theatrical.

Ive seen a few where it feels pretty obvious, the demolisher playthrough had the exact same energy as this where it was clear that the drummer was just miming to a midi track, but for example if you watch the underneath a sullen moon playthrough from Anthony Barone, it feels like theres actually weight behind his hits.
