The second hint where taking a break always helps me to find the number that I was stuck for a long time within a jiffy and I would just hit my head thinking I was wasting my time for that number which was there in front of me.

What I also appreciate about your teaching style, sir, is that you always keep your language clean. I sometimes watch TEDTalks videos, and more often than not, there is language used that just isn't necessary and isn't clean. I appreciate your being so considerate of your audience, knowing that viewers of all ages are going to watch and learn from you, and everyone will learn, if only subliminally, that swearing and foul language aren't needed. I've been doing sudokus for a couple of years on and off, but only the absolutely easiest ones. All the others always seemed like a thing of the devil to me, only destined to show me, what a stupid creature I am.
But, then, a knight in shining armour appeared - the sudoku guy. Already the first 2 lessons were much more helpful than I had ever anticipated and it has helped me tremendously. They got me into a real sudoku frenzy, where I bought several sudoku books ranging from easy to impossible and I am slowly battling my way through them. When I seem to have reached the limits of my capabilities, I move on to the next lesson and you help me see the light again.

I am improving by your method of teaching. Three weeks ago I was unable to solve any puzzles. This week I solved 2 easy puzzles 4 and 5 minutes successively. I also solved an intermediate puzzle in 15 minutes.

I have tried quite a number of sudokus and finally gave up. They seemed too difficult for me although I love numbers. Your exceptional talent to explain things made me try again. Now I can't get enough of these puzzles. Still working on easy ones but I'm on my way. Seems you were born to be a teacher

I just found you yesterday. I am enjoying going through your vlogs. I have a puzzle I need to solve, it's really hard. I keep putting the hard ones in a folder because I just can't figure them out and then last night I learned sorta the x y wing. I haven't been able to apply it yet but I will keep watching until I figure it out. I sure wish I could post the picture of the puzzle to show you how insane it is but RUclips doesn't have that feature. Thanks for all you have done. I just ordered and got this past week, some of the hardest puzzles for Sudoku I could find. So excited to learn to solve them. I hope you and yours have the most amazing day.

Hi Robin, I’m not sure if you’ll read this given this is a very old video, but I’m slowly working through them. I discovered your channel by accident a few days ago, now I’m hooked. I’m trying to use your tips and have done 3 puzzles (easy) on the computer and solved each one in under 25 minutes. It’s the first I’ve ever done Sudoku. Until I saw your videos, I add no idea how to do them. I’m going to buy a book from the newsagent and hopefully find one with one puzzle per page. I keep hearing your voice in my head as I check the columns and rows at the beginning: “don’t worry about it” when faced with very few numbers in the cells. 😅 Thanks again for your passion. It’s got me onto a new hobby. Graeme

You are right. It is very easy to miss something. That is why knowing many techniques helps because another technique for example lesson 7 would help you find what you missed.
