Nice. Thank you for sharing. Coleman's March is one of my favorite tunes to play on mandolin. Your A model has a full sound. Your B part alt is different. Once again, thank you and keep on playin.
Sorry but I don't have sheet music for this tune and I played played it on a 10 string mandolin so without the lower course it not going to sound the same. You can find sheet music here: thesession.org/tunes/3888
@@DavidHansen408 thanks when i tuned the G string to A I could pick up some nice double stops, the link was helpful, my sheet music was slightly different.
Interesting -- what's the distinction? I've only ever heard 5- or 6-course instruments like this referred to as citterns. Is it scale-length? (I did instantly recognise it as a Sobel, though! His luthiery is incredible.)
Beautiful instrument. Not heard a 5 course mando before❤

Very nice. Is that DADAE tuning?
Yes it's DADAE tuning. It works quite well on this tune,
Love this tune! Tabs?
Sorry I don't have TAB for this.
Cittern?
10 string mandolin.

Stefan Sobell calls it a 10 string mandolin and that's good enough for me.
I hear you.
