Healthy well balanced dogs like you have a the perfect remedy for scared dogs, other dogs are definitely a great trainer’s for young fearful dog’s who haven’t been socialised as small puppies, especially one’s from war zone’s.
You two are wonderful and so patient! I agree. Your other two dogs are pawfect for fostering other dogs. 🐾💕🐾💕 ~Here’s to the four of you and wonderful little Rusa!🐾💕 ~From the USA, North Carolina.
We rescued a purebred Border Collie who was completely feral....never been in a house, never really touched by humans but kept in 8 x 10 cage in the middle of a field for breeding only. He stayed out in our yard for three days before he would even come in the house....and then he didn't know what stairs were. He was 2 yrs old at the time. Our Golden Retriever, Tonka, took this wild dog under his wing and with 2 days of coming into the house, he was house trained. He glommed onto Tonka and never left his side. He was so smart he just learned to do EVERYTHING that Tonka did. Our beautiful old boy Tonka lived to be 22 years old and passed away 2 yrs ago. Lucan (the border collie) was never the same after that. He mourned Tonka terribly and passed away six months later at the age of 11. I truly believe it was from a broken heart.
What happened to the other pups? If the world only had more foster families like you! So attentive to her needs and emotions. Its really beautiful and encouraging to see good people doing such compassionate work for dogs in need!
I just want to thank you for fostering a dog in need. I have so much respect to everyone involved in the rescue community. You are truly saving a life.
For being first-time fosters, you are doing an amazing job! Rusa made amazing progress from day 1 to day 7. Your two dogs do make a great team. I think Rusa has some corgi in her.
You two are the best humans!! Thank you for caring for these dogs!!! Seeing this brought tears to my eyes and seeing how much love and care you both give these dogs renewed my faith that there are really good people in the world.
Thank you soooooo much for fostering!! The amount of progress you've helped Rosa make in a week is spectacular! I think people that keep commenting about keeping her just don't know or understand the crisis going on in so many countries this year with shelters being completely overpopulated and overwhelmed. That's why foster families like you guys are more important than ever, you guys are really angels! It's also easy to see how well trained and socialized your two dogs are so no doubt you're gonna do great at bringing success to all the fosters that come through your doors and their forever families ❤
Thank you! It is hard, because she has bonded with us and our dogs but what you’ve said is completely correct. Shelters are actually declining dogs because they’re so full, and we’re making sure she goes to a loving family, not just anyone that offers to take her. Thank you for understanding 🙏
You are so amazing with your rescues... you don't just look after them. You really show them the love they've never had before, with all the kisses and cuddles every dog has the right to have❤. It's a great thing to rescue dogs, but you give these little Earth Angels that extra affection that isn't always possible in a shelter. Rusa is gorgeous, and I'd love to be able to have her, but I already belong to a little spaniel and a little brown mongrel, both rescues. God bless you for your kindness to these beautiful souls ❤.
I’m so glad Rusa has come out of her shell! She looks like one happy puppy 🐶 She has a lot more confidence, which is nice to see! Well done foster Mommy and Daddy! ❤️❤️ 🐕 🐕 🐶
You are fantastic foster parents, and the progress Rusa made in only a week was so good to see. However, I wasn’t quite prepared that she’s a foster, but hopefully she will move into a forever home with a family which is as loving and empathetic as you are, and hopefully you’ll be able to keep in contact with her eventual new family. It is heartbreaking that she’ll be separated from her new found playmates, though. Cheers for your wonderful work and excellently produced videos.
You are such wonderful people, thank you for showing Rusa so much love and kindness. I understand you can’t keep her, but I hope that Russ’s forever family gives her the kind of love that you have shown her ❤
I’m so happy that you have the goal to help dog’s find their forever home, that is an ongoing commitment. You could easily adopt another dog, but helping pups/dogs get their confidence and trust back is going to help so many - rather than just one. ❤️
@@treehouse2902 Let me tell you from my own experience. We had already 2 big dogs(both Rottweilers) when we started fostering for our local shelter. Our 2nd foster dog was a little JRT/Corgi mix being already 12yrs old. Our 2 kids and the dogs love her to pieces. And by day 10 we decided to foster fail. And keeping the little nugget. Since then we fostered another 7 dogs. TBH if you manage 3 dogs in your household a 4th isnt that big of a deal. We are lucky to have the finances to afford it. Be it food or medical treatment. Lili is the queen of our house. She runs the pack and helps a lot when we take in new fosters. She is so calm and relaxed. Which makes it easy for the new arriving fosters to sattle in. She shows them the ropes and "the do´s and dont´s". For the first couple days we usualy introduce only Lili to the new arrived fosters. When they decompressed and feeling safe we start to introduced the 2 big goofballs. When they play a bit to rough or "overwhelm" the newcomer Lili steps in and handles the situation perfectly. Moral of the story. If you got enough room in your house. A garden and the finances it realy doesnt matter if you got 2,3 or 4 dogs. 🥰🐶
@@treehouse2902exactly. Nothing wrong with a foster fail, but that’s not the goal. I think Rusa will thrive in any loving home, as long as she has some fur brothers or sisters. The work these 2 have done with her is remarkable. The change in her attitude & demeanor in just one week is spectacular!
this is a GREAT! foster home - multiple dogs, large dogs, stairs, indoor living space, outdoor living space, multiple humans to interact with, how great!
What a wonderful foster story. You really are providing a wonderful place for her. We have fostered a couple of dogs but our last one was what is termed a "foster fail", we wound up adopting him ourselves. 🥰 Once he came out of his shell it was obvious that the fit with our other 2 was too good to ignore.
This is excellent. She is beautiful and has settled in unbelievably well. You two and your dogs are a fabulous foster family! Looking forward to seeing more!😀❤️
Seeing this, is making me think really hard again about fostering as well. So amazing what you do and what difference you make. I also have two rescue dogs that are very loving and stable. So they could also help other dogs I think, but the only thing keeping me back is that I am scared it would not be a match with my dogs.
Her sweet brown eyes are just begging for love and gentle care! It's like she's trying to say "please just love me and don't hurt me." What kind of person is mean to innocent animals? She is so sweet and gentle and she's with the perfect people and dogs!
We have never been able to have dogs, but have been able to take in many cats in the past 45+ years and to find homes for some we couldn't keep. Keep up the good work and if possible let us know how Rusa does. Thank you for taking care of her.
I think, you are the perfect family to rescue a lot more dogs and find them their own home. 🥰 You´ve all got so much love to give and the sensitivity, which is needed with traumatized souls. It´s heartwarming to watch.
You are both so amazingly in tune with the need of your dogs. It's downright magical watching the effect your care has on Rusa and how quickly. You've set her up for amazing success
You guys are the best and Rusa is such a sweet pup..I had tears in my eyes watching this, just beautiful ❤❤❤ Kobe and Moki really made her feel welcome. I have no idea how you guys are gonna not be a wreck when the day comes that she has a forever home to go to, really a sweet pup. But thankyou for all you do in helping to find these beautiful dogs a home.
Fairplay guys for doing what you do. I had a Jack Russell Terrier who passed away 3 years ago from cancer bless him. Dogs are amazing companions and so loyal. Well done again.
So much respect for you guys. I dont know how people can foster dogs, it must take so much strength. I couldn't let her go once id fallen in love but understand that you are needed to help other dogs. I wouldnt have that strength. Thank you for all you do.
Moki really helped her work off her excess anxiety that Rusa had when they started playing. After that she seemed to understand that this is a happy and wonderful place and that not everything is scary in this big world. Great job with this one guys. :D
What a great job you guys did with Rusa!! I don't know how you wouldn't want to keep her. I wanted to rescue or work in our local Animal Shelter but my husband told me I am too sensitive and would keep all the dogs, lol. I would definitely be a Foster Fail!! Thank you for what you are doing by changing these babies lives!!
You guys are brilliant.Makes me well up.There is too much cruelty to animals in this not so nice world anymore and your videos puts a lump in my throat and a big smile in my heart.God bless you ❤❤❤❤❤
This was amazing ! Thank you for giving her the love she so desperately needed! I think she would make a great addition to your family with Moki and Kobe. Thank you for this video.❤️
My family adopted a pit bull that was rescued from a fighting ring. She was petrified of everything. Our other dog, Kelly, immediately got her to open up. It was amazing to watch
Keep on as Foster /Rescue!! You both were splendid. Your dogs were excellent. The way you turned the little one's re-start at a happy life was wonderful. you are doing very well and the more pups you can help the better. '
I still can't believe how quickly she came out her shell, what a difference day 7 is to day 1 🥲
1st! And i love your dogs

I literally started to cry when you said you could not keep her.
i would not be surprised if this turns into a foster fail
I know that’s so sad after she gets used to her new family then she will be removed again 😢😢😢
Thank you for being great foster parents and loving these dogs.
What a wonderful couple to foster puppies. May God bless you. What a beautiful work you are doing. What a great pack!

I am so thrilled. I saw Rusa in dogsblog and instantly fall in love with her. I’m so glad she could have a family that loves her! Thank you❤
If I wasn't in the U.S., I'd adopt this sweetie in a second. Good luck Rusa!
Me too!!
You are such wonderful people, thank you for showing Rusa so much love and kindness. I understand you can’t keep her, but I hope that Russ’s forever family gives her the kind of love that you have shown her ❤
People usually forget about the pets when there's a natural disaster or war. Thank you for fostering these dogs. YOU ARE AMAZING!
You are very loving and worthy people…thank you for what you do.
You two are some of God’s best work for what you do. Only animal lovers can truly appreciate you. Thank you.
I've never had a dog. You must be wonderful people and great dog owners.
I hope you guys keep her , she has been through hell and she deserves to be loved and to feel safe and u guys give her thst . Thank you
What a beautiful, encouraging video! (Great production and editing, too.) Congratulations on your first foster experience!
Thank you for being a foster. I couldn`t do what you do I would end up with 30 dogs. Dogs are great and such a wonderful blessing.
This is the third or fourth time I'e watched this. Heart-warming every time, Hope Rusa has found her forever home by now!
You two are amazing! You're like professional dog psychologists. God bless you all!
You are very good people ... bless you and all your dogs
You are doing a wonderful job helping dogs . God bless you both.
Thank you both for what you do for the pups that need a home. May you be abundantly blessed by God.
Very loving environment to explore her new world ❤. Keep up your fabulous work.
What a lucky little girl to have such a loving foster family!!🥰

Please keep her, she seems to be herself around you and her own kind it's like her first family
I get that but Rusa is ready to move onto a family of her own. It would be necessary so the couple can keep fostering other pups.
