Hi I have one of these as well in .308. Went back to Colt for trigger issues. Never fixed it. However JARD triggers is working on a trigger for it. Should be released soon.
@@thelonggunner762 Hi Pretty much what you were getting. Colt did reset the headspace and they sent a target back at .5 with a cold bore flyer. You can lower the trigger pull on that unit. However be careful as the trigger will "set" when the pull is lowered if you pull the trigger on safe. At least on mine. Colt said it was normal lol. So I reached out to JARD and they are currently manufacturing triggers for the CBX.
So late to this he game and I don’t think many trust their QC. There are so many other choices now that this rifle is really an “also ran” in my opinion.
@JamesClark-lw6sw basically the use of a barrel nut, the bolt handle and possibly the cut for the magazine type on the bottom of the action are the differences
Try some Federal Blue Box, the plain Jane stuff. I've seen some unreal groups with that as of late. Really good looking rifle.

That’s the same as a CZ600 action. I had the CZ600 alpha. Same rifle but with a laminated stock. Makes since because colt now owns CZ USA
Going one step further it is a branding thing, effectively Colt logos on a CZ 600 MDT for the US Market.
CZ owns Colt.
It"s not "LIKE" a CZ 600. It IS A CZ 600 barreled action that is just marked "Colt".
