To summarize the plot, essentially there's this gang leader named Cyrus who tries to rally her community (the other gangs of the five New York boroughs) against their common enemy which in this case is the police and the system they work for.
However, the white leader of the Rogues (bigoted Incel type) ends up assassinating her and pins the blame on the Warriors which causes everybody to try to avenged Cyrus by murdering the girls in question.
From that point the girls are basically hit with an onslaught of misogyny, racism, and police brutality as they try to get home and clear their name over a crime that they didn't commit.
It was supposed to kind of be a commentary of the gamergate situation but given what happened recently in the United States it kind of hits entirely different.
