I’m so thankful for this video! I clicked on it just because I love Bibles and love hearing reviews on different ones. But I actually got an answer to a much bigger issue I’ve been struggling with lately. This is my first year homeschooling my children and I haven’t been happy with the devotionals I’ve been reading to my children. I’ve been searching for blogs about reading straight from the Bible to young children... and I really haven’t found much. It was nice to hear you confirm that it’s doable and they are more than capable of understanding. Thanks again!
Glad it helped. The Holy Spirit does the major heart softening and eye opening. As long as we as Christians/parents are diligent to be on the word ourselves and have some answers when they ask. The kids will see that. No need for fancy devo books. Gods Word is enough 😁 (Now I’m not saying it’s not a good idea to have a study bible or commentary around to help understand that a word) 😀 Thanks for watching!!
I was on Amazon last night and saw something amazing to help with understanding the Bible for family fun! 💕 It’s called “So You Think You Know The Bible - A Fun Bible Trivia Game for Families, Fellowship and Bible Study” It’s great for kids & adults 💗 Hopes this helps @Brooke Lewis 🙏🏼
"Tooling" is correct... yes machine done. One note... bonded leather is not "real" leather. It is made of a composite of upholstery material, blended leather (dust with adhesive) ... leather scraps and fibers to a backing material. Not bad... just a cheaper way to cover the book. As you know solid leather as a cover can add 75% to the price; because if cared for it will last a life or two. Thanks for the review.

Filipinos tend to be quite religious but the majority of Filipinos are Catholics because the Philippines was once a Spanish colony and our culture is steeped in Catholicism. But there are plenty of Protestants too.
Journaling bibles are supposed to have thick paper so you can write on it. Why does there seem to be so much ghosting evident here? What's the gsm of the paper (gsm = grams per square meter)?
Thanks for this review I’ve bought several journaling Bibles and have found the font too small for my aging eyes, and they’re just sitting on my shelf waiting for someone to gift them to. It’s nice to see a larger print journaling Bible.
I use the Nkjv as well. Have been interested in this particular bible for my own study. Either this one or an interleaved edition. Regarding the single ribbon, you may already know, but there are a number of hacks that you can do to your bible including adding your own extra ribbons. The ghosting issue can be assisted by cutting a piece of white cardstock a little smaller than the page size. It is a little bit much, but moving it behind the pages as you need it is very helpful. Thanks for what you do.

Nice to see your writing and underlining with what you see on the other side. I’m looking forward to writing the 7 I AM statements down in John as well as the Jehovah titled. You mention Jesus’ mother but God doesn’t have a mother, but of course Jesus is God, kind of a mental wrestling match there. I love the Alpha and Omega in first and last chapters of Revelation to show Jehovah Witnesses one of the many ways to show this. God bless!

@@jdovly are you familiar with comfort print? This one isn’t comfort print it seems but letter size isn’t the only important thing, it’s how bold the letters are. I like typically like 11 or 12 font but if it’s “comfort print” I can go to 9 size font. Hope this helps
@@jdovly if you see any bibles that say comfort print I highly recommend those, so bold. Also a good one I like if you like esv is the large print wide margin, pretty bold and barely any ghosting, it’s highly readable.
Do you have any provable, fact-based evidence of anything spiritual in the bible? And by "evidence" I mean, NOT any hearsay, feelings, faith, beliefs, hopes, coincidences or bible stories written by man.
