Haven’t watched the video yet but as someone who also recently started a lethal story I recommend doing everything and I mean everything in an area before even starting the main story quests Oh and make sure you do the shrines they help so much their talismans help so much mainly the help with parry perfect pary and perfect dodge (Again I haven’t watched the video yes I don’t have time right now just saw the title so I thought I’d comment before their was no chance of the comment being seen but after I did this it became normal in terms of difficulty like I rarely die after doing this thru the entire chapter 1 and most of chapter 2 and based on some of the comments I saw you haven’t finished this or else this comment would be useless so let’s hope I guessed right)

idk to me lethal seems easier because even though you die in one or two hits so do the enemies iirc, I played on hard specifically cause I read it’s more difficult in a lot of cases and feels more enjoyable as well

Btw no spoilers but the reason you aren't playing Jin in Yotei is because it's over 200 years since the time of the first game takes place (GoT ~1200 -> GoY 1603) So Jin is already dead dead
@@SteeleStrife yeah, George Lucas was a huge fan of the era and you can see that in the type of clothing and code they lived by. George also loved the political issues of the time and basically brought that to the movies. You know how the E1 movie discusses Sith as if they haven't been seen in forever. Yet somehow they are able to take over by E3? It was just like the Mongols. They were stronger, faster, and the army was gigantic. The samurai were cocky, arrogant pricks and thought no one could stand up to their might. Just like the Jedi thought they were invincible. Which made killing so many off with the clones so much easier. Lucas did go his own direction with the films that differed from the rest of Japanese history. But you can see direct connections from that major time period into the movies. That's why this Jin character and the Ronin you find are so damn compelling. Because they were willing to fight and win by any means necessary. It's likely why these types of fighters lasted longer and the ninjas became such a massive asset.

Bowing to a dead body (Swipe down on the touchpad) will make Jin pay respects to them unless they are a foe.
NGL Ghost of Tsushima has to be one of my top 5 greatest story game's so im happy you dicided to play this game
Heres a little tip: during standoffs look at your opponents feet because if they take a step they are commiting to the attack.
Do people struggle with standoffs?
This is good advice. Some people struggle later on when the enemy types become more varied and the feints more common.

Tsushima in the game is a 1:1 scale of the actual island of tsushima, most of the actual shrine locations in the game are where they are in real life

For me the best way was hard mode for regular enemies and lethal for bosses. Lethal on all the time is actually much easier than hard.
