Oh my goodness! I think I'm in love. lol Karen was my favorite singer way back when. Thanks for the reminder about her talent. I will definitely be listening to her from now on. It will be a good diversion from listening to Dimash or Dan Vasc all the time. lol

Totally different sound from Karen Carpenter, different vibrato, but a beautiful voice all her own.

I still think Tory is more of a ringer for Karen's records, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with a "bassed on" performance, and she has the right tone and feeling to make great covers, and in any event this a great attempt to remind us of a great era in music.
