@mikwrites is someone I'm enormously grateful of being part of the author tube community. She is so real and talks about the difficulties of time management and she loves analyzing stories and plots. Her current writing project sounds so interesting and engaging and it's fascinating to see the writing process of another writer.

Not a new channel but Abbie Emmons has an amazing channel where she talks about craft and self-publishing a lot as she and her sister Kate are both self-published authors 🤗💜
Authortube is my favourite community on YT everyone is just so nice! I stopped uploading for a while but I'm hopefully gonna start uploading again since my school is a bit less work rn

Reading and writing are vital to me and I have loved watching these kinds of videos, so if I’m being honest, I’ve been itching to start an authortube. I’m just concerned that it wouldn’t be sustainable for me since I already have a channel about houseplants that I’m trying to maintain on top of busy life 😅 but alas. Maybe one of these days I’ll just do it.

If I could make a recommendation for a channel that I really admire, it would be Megan Brush (Also from Canada. 🥴) I'd classify her as a "Vibes & Vlogs" channel. I've been watching her stuff for I think close to a year now, and her vlogs are so cozy, and she's so inspiring. Can't recommend her enough.

I'm here to full-on recommend Meredith E. Phillips because her videos are so relaxing and fun! She's a regency romance writer who is pursuing traditional publishing. It honestly feels like you're catching up with a friend when watching her vlogs! :)

Sarah Sutton is a self-published author with 6220 subscribers on here and that feels weirdly low with the way she pumps out entries in her rom-com series like a veteran master of literary business, while also being very humble about her frustrations and anxiety in staying on schedule. This reminds me to get caught up on her videos, since I'm roughly a year behind.
Bree Buonomo has 1190 subscribers and brings a more down-to-earth approach in her content. She emphasizes the balance she pursues between her writing and her personal life, which as she points out can be an extreme challenge for us in these dark times. She's also a licensed social worker, and she therefore brings a keener, very empathetic insight into the human touches involved with storytelling.
A user who goes by "kathryn's library" has just started on the author side of things after content for booktube (from which she carries 1210 subscribers) and I was very intrigued by her train of thought during her initial vlog.

One of the first authortubers I found was Ellen Brock. I am still impressed with her content.
Ellen's content is fantastic (so useful!) but my intention for this video was to feature smaller/newer creators :)

I love following RachelWrites, Liselle Sambury, Lindsay Puckett, Kelley Tai, Kris MF, and more, but I was also able to add a few more to my list to watch thanks to your list! 🥰
I would recommend Kayla Kempers who I believe is pursuing self-publishing and has a self-published poetry collection out. I also beta read her YA fantasy novel a few months ago.
I’d also like to recommend my friend Jasmine Skye! She’s a traditionally published and agented YA author. She hasn’t posted videos in a while, but I recommend watching her older ones. We met on AuthorTube and now I’m going to be a sensitivity reader for her sequel! We also just met in person 2 weeks ago for the first time! Love her content!
Would also recommend Wallisimo whose witchy Halloween traditionally published Adult fantasy debut, A DARK AND SECRET MAGIC, comes out on Tuesday! 🥳
And KatieAnnWrites! Her traditionally published Adult romance comes out next year and her vlogs are so fun!

I would also suggest Jane Kalmes, if you're a mystery, especially cosy mystery, writer. She has such great videos, good at explaining things, has a bunch of simple principles, good examples and is CRIMINALLY underrated. Also, most of her videos are fairly short and to the point, so if you don't want to watch someone waffle on for ages before getting to the point, check out Jane Kalmes. Please. She's fantastic.
Also, if you're a fantasy writer (or sci-fi), check out Jed Herne. Similarly to Jane Kalmes, has many simple principals and good examples. Honestly, pretty much everything I've written about Jane applies to Jed as well, but for fantasy. He is a much larger RUclipsr (about 100k subscribers), but he's really really good as well.
Not a huge fan of authortubers if I'm totally honest, but happy birthday and congrats, and all that. Happy authortubing.
