In this trip to Himachal, we bring you Chindi. It lies in the Karsog Valley. Geographically, it lies almost in the middle of 2 of the most popular hill stations in Himachal Pradesh - Shimla and Manali. And yet, it remains a secluded paradise. One of the best places to go in Himachal Pradesh.

Lata sharma someday you will realise that tourism not really that good for nature and culture, our Himachali culture and place is unique , preserve it, don't jump on the bandwagon, look at the serene place like shimla, Kasol, Manali etc ruined by your so called tourism which has lead to drug abuse and smuggling, something unheard of in old days, because bang h etc being part of our culture no one abused it or gave it much thought , now you have wannabe Himachalis and city Indians trying t be western with fake accent and a confused generation.

Beautiful video. We hired a car & driver and did Chandigarh-Shimla-Nahldera-Chindi-Manikaran-Kulu-Manali-Naggar-Palampur-MacleodGanj-Dharamshala-Pathankot-Jammu & Srinagar about 6 years ago. Absolutely loved it. Your video brings back to me wonderful memories of Chindi and the surroundings. We stayed overnight at HPTDC Mamleshwar hotel. Chindi is very cold but well worth the visit, and an interesting alternative route to the conventional congested highway for those doing Shimla-Manali. Highly recommended.

When I was living in karsong I still remember I was in 3rd or may be 4th standard and we went chindi for our school picnic..memory👍

Glad to see even small places of himachal are grabbing tourist attraction. Just a kind request to all the people who visit here in himachal or any other hill state, when in hills please respect the hills. You came to nature not for bragging to your friends back home but to bow down to the beauty in its entirety and magnificent history it holds. Kindly keep hills clean and don't keep littering around. Just keep a carry bag to gather garbage along your way, even a candy wrapper counts. Enjoy the calm and be calm in the hills because that's what you are here for. Don't just follow wrong ways even when some locals are doing so. People have lost their ways, they need to and will come back.

the real problems is the govt. which is not taking interest in making Karsog and Chindi as tourist place. Being a karsogi i also want karsog to be famous as other tourist places because it has everything which a tourist place needs and thanks to you for making this beautiful video of my hometown.

Karsog VEVO acha hai bhai karsog chupa hai tourists se abhi tk. Shimla manali McLeodGanj ki halat dekh lo.. I visited karsog and Chindi a few years ago and instantly fell in love with the place for its beauty and peace and minimum tourists.

dude excess of tourism will destroy the natural beauty just like its happening in manali and shimla, people will sell lands to the big firms and your economy will be dependent on the tourists, you guys are good in apple production keep it that way and never sell your lands

Indeed, it's a trekker's paradise. I didn't take the direct route as I wasn't sure of the road conditions around Arki - Dhami - Shaur.

Is it good idea to visit this place in January? will public transport be available till Karsog in january?
+yogesh dharmadhikari It may snow somewhat in January, be sure to check the weather before leaving. Not sure about the public transport availability. You could contact the HRTC office in Shimla, they will be able to guide better. ATB👍
