+Arsalan Ahmad Sorry bro, completely missed your comment. This was during August. Rains actually make the place more beautiful 🙂. That said, be mindful of road conditions.
So good to see people exploring my hometown and making everyone see this unexplored beauty, As our state government shows complete lack of interest in promoting tourism it's people like who we himachalis should be thank full to. people are going to come here more often now.
+Lata sharma Thank you for your kind words. Glad you liked the video. Just wish the place doesn't get spoilt as usually happens once it gets popular. :( Stay connected, lots more coming up from Himachal ;)
Lata sharma someday you will realise that tourism not really that good for nature and culture, our Himachali culture and place is unique , preserve it, don't jump on the bandwagon, look at the serene place like shimla, Kasol, Manali etc ruined by your so called tourism which has lead to drug abuse and smuggling, something unheard of in old days, because bang h etc being part of our culture no one abused it or gave it much thought , now you have wannabe Himachalis and city Indians trying t be western with fake accent and a confused generation.
Nice video!! Had done a Trek in this area way back in 2003-4!! Could hardly remember anything but your video helped alot to reconnect with memories!! Thanks!!! Definitely going back!!! Great video!!! Thank you!! Already seen all of your videos!!! Planning Meghalaya first!!! Keep up the good work!! 😇😇
Thanks a lot for your kind words! It feels so serene even now, can't imagine the beauty back in 03-04! Take your time, India is a beautiful country and a lifetime is not enough to do it full justice. But what the heck, we can at least try :) Thanks for your support and do stay connected, lots more coming up!

Beautiful video. We hired a car & driver and did Chandigarh-Shimla-Nahldera-Chindi-Manikaran-Kulu-Manali-Naggar-Palampur-MacleodGanj-Dharamshala-Pathankot-Jammu & Srinagar about 6 years ago. Absolutely loved it. Your video brings back to me wonderful memories of Chindi and the surroundings. We stayed overnight at HPTDC Mamleshwar hotel. Chindi is very cold but well worth the visit, and an interesting alternative route to the conventional congested highway for those doing Shimla-Manali. Highly recommended.
Glad to see even small places of himachal are grabbing tourist attraction. Just a kind request to all the people who visit here in himachal or any other hill state, when in hills please respect the hills. You came to nature not for bragging to your friends back home but to bow down to the beauty in its entirety and magnificent history it holds. Kindly keep hills clean and don't keep littering around. Just keep a carry bag to gather garbage along your way, even a candy wrapper counts. Enjoy the calm and be calm in the hills because that's what you are here for. Don't just follow wrong ways even when some locals are doing so. People have lost their ways, they need to and will come back. Thanks in advance if this short note changes even slighest of your ways in a better way.
Beautiful and perfect location as well as very nicely captured and made video. Are you hiring self drive vehicles always like in North east video? Please share. Thanks
@Dakshay: I have never hired self drive vehicles. Lots of bad reviews going around. If I don't have my personal vehicle with me, I prefer to hire a cab. Hope it helps! 🙂

I can imagine about the views (since Karsog is all around pretty!) but not sure of the exact place you mention. There are chances it might not have survived the 14 yrs since your visit.
Going to Karsog from shimla you would cross sunni first and Tattapani later , the video shows the opposite.Looks like that part was shot while returning.
+yogesh dharmadhikari It may snow somewhat in January, be sure to check the weather before leaving. Not sure about the public transport availability. You could contact the HRTC office in Shimla, they will be able to guide better. ATB👍
Wow...u have covered all the main things very nicely...about 3 years ago i went to karsog and watching this vedio is just like flashback ...that wonderful trip😍
very very awesome. that is how I love the hills, particularly that monsoon time. whereas ppl don't recommend because of landslides. video belong to which year? curious to know coz I'm surprised for roads. not sure if they are still in the same conditions. one spot I really loved a lot, the mist/clouds over the Sutlej on your left side while heading to chindi from tattapani.
