Following a week of important home wins, Gary Rowett and his Oxford side travelled to one of the gaffer's old stomping grounds in Staffordshire, to face Mark Robins Potters. This fixture would end in a draw but both sides had chances to win it. Most notably, Oxford's record signing Ole Romeny played just 10 minutes, nicked the ball of Johansson but was unable to convert the chance as red shirts raced back to make the chance harder.
