This might be my first game purchase of 2025 and I think I want that coffee mug too. It looks like alot of fun and challenging. Is it available on Series X disc?

Anywhere else and the southern weather would be a factor but obvs the weather's shit everywhere so the north sweeps it for beer, food, community and tourism. Unfortunately these days most media defaults to simplified English as Americans won't look up a word they don't know. Even British authors have to pay to translate boot to trunk etc. 21% of America is illiterate and 54% have the reading age of 11!
Despite the obvious suggestive links to Stalker, which isn't a bad thing, I say kudos to rebellion for going into a completely different IP and being brave, it doesn't look like they've been lazy in this genre either.
Finally, a post-apocalyptic game set in my neck of the woods in Northern England. Although to be honest, we just call a post-apocalyptic walk about the lake district a "Saturday".
This is supposed to be a gameplay overview trailer but the narrator's intonation throughout sounds more like she's giving an extremely excited and glowing review of the game. Looks like a great game though. Adding it to my list to keep an eye on.
Nah; it would have given a comedic tone to the game; which they don't want and wouldn't have suited. It's like getting Alan Partridge to narrate a Metro gameplay demonstration.
This VA was actually really good and had me invested all the way through to the end of the video. And finally someone had to balls to do what Fallout can't seem to do these days
Blimey ! This seems to have come out of nowhere ! Nice to see a software house taking a risk on a new IP. Rebellion could easily have just have pushed out Sniper Elites until the end of time. I would have liked to see the underground areas MUCH DARKER, so that the flashlight is useful. The undergrounds looked pretty well lit and not tense and scary.
Cant wait for this. Lake District is beautiful and wouldnt have thought it would be a location for a game..usually its all the stereotyped London areas. Bravo.

I have to say you guys should give a nod to Fallout London modders, they put this game on my wishlist. Since playing FO:London, I absolutely love the vibe and this looks like something I really want to play.
Rebellion has grown to be such an interesting developer. I love Strange Brigade and the Sniper Elite and Zombie Army games. I'll be getting this one on PS5 for sure!
I didn't get on with Strange brigade and have yet to play the Zombie Army games but LOVE the Sniper series. This game looks very much up my street though so definitely getting wish listed.
It's set in Cumbria but I don't think they bothered actually coming here. They've definitely never heard a cumbria accent that's for sure. Sellafield being shown in what appears to be a valley was also funny. Saying the area was full of irradiated feral creatures did make me lol though 😂
The most impressive thing, if this is truly indicative of the actual game is that you pose a question with politics in your game rather then push ideological propaganda. "Is the military faction making the hard choice for the greater good or are they going too far" this exactly what made games like this great. If the end product lives up to that freedom of interpretation and choice I'm all in for this.

Should have a small shovel or spade for unburying the treasure you find with the metal detector. Besides that looks like such an amazing game!!!!!! Can’t wait!
Haven't been this excited for a game since the announcement of New Vegas! Love the familiar setting of the UK, really looking forward to seeing all the locations and characters. Also cool to hear a regional accent do the narration, very refreshing!
Being a survival it's kind of an obvious answer but would i have to worry about hunger, water, sleep, wounds, temperature, etc.? It looks promising but i'm no fan of survivals.
First time hearing about this game and I'm instantly hooked! I absolutely love single player first person shooters and exploration in games especially when the level/environmental design is carefully hand crafted which it seems like is the case here, looks pretty immersive! Also, the voiceover lady sounds super cute and expressive.

Real shame that developers don't see the need of improving animations/presentation of npc's or ai of npc's at all. It's all about lighting and texture quality and photorealism, but npc's that talk to you are straight out of 2010 in facial animations. Wax figures so to speak. :/
I hope they get more inspiration from the Metro Series. and lean into making things more tactile and grounded. Things makes things more immersive and add a lot of gameplay depth to it. I'm not even just talking about the weapons, but the tools as well. The glimpse from this trailer shows things are going into a great direction.
Gamepass unfortunately equals little to no income for the developer (M$ pays a set fixed amount for the developer to have their game in the gamepass service).
@DaimlerStool That is very true,problem is,there is so little being released on disc that this is the only viable option for me. I have all my games on disc from PS. And that's expensive enough😅 Plus,if the devs hardly make any profit,why would they invent a digital console🤷♂️,works both ways,but I hear ya👊🏼
As long as it's playable on launch I'm basically sold already. I've needed my fallout esque game fix for a while. Bonus points if we get mouse and keyboard support on console.
I do believe Jonathon L Howard is writing for this game, I can say it does give me hope that it'll break the stale setting of post apocalypse nuke world. We've had Fallout a good long time after all, metro etc.
