Thank you for your review . I decided to buy the bluetti Ac240 after watching your video. I have been looking at it for awhile, after I saw how many things you ran in your caravan and charge to your battery at the same time. I think it was a no brainer to get. so I used your code
    can’t thank you enough,Mark

Thank you we are really enjoying ours I worked out that we get about 100amps back into our van batteries with the power station then I recharge the BLUETTI through the 12v in our car as we travel or plug it in to 240v when available. We also use it to run all the Starlink, laptops, recharging all the phone’s cameras etc which has taken a huge load off the van.

      Hi Mark
      Great video.
Im looking for another option instead of a generator.
Will the Bluetti power my caravan's ac (ibis4) comfortably? I can't help feel going to a generator is better in this category if it's a hot day.
The solar blanket recharge back into the power station makes me think I'd only get around 2 hours of cooling at most?

@@tonym527 hey mate we use our AC240 to run the AC for about an hour prior to going to bed on hot nights, we normally set our aircon to 23degrees. The best continuous run we got was for 3 hours from a 100% charge on the AC240. if you wanted to run your aircon throughout the night or during hot periods of the day, it will deplete quite quickly so you either buy additional batteries from BLUETTI that fit directly onto the power station or use a generator. The AC240 works perfectly for us.

You missed your calling Steve. You should be a salesman as you definitely have the " Gift of the Gab"! Bluetti should be sponsoring you all the time 🤣 A different video but also enjoyable. I have seen a few of my subscriptions review these but this one looks like a monster compared to the ones they had to review. Whats next? Commentating the Olympic swimming teams? Now that I want to see. You would be fantastic at it.

Thank you mate, sorry for the delayed reply I’ve been having a few tests this week. The power station is great and I’m really learning how to integrate it into our daily routine which I’ll share in a few weeks

A great review Steve and I agree they are a good bit of gear. Ive got the smaller version and bought it as a package with the MP200 solar panels. A word of warning for your subscribers though. The first time i hooked up the solar panels (recently) they caught fire and melted the wiring! Luckily I was watching to see what sort of charge it put into the unit.

Thanks mate, that’s very concerning about the solar panels. Was it faulty or just bad design. Lucky you were there. we recharged ours via the 12v in our car while we’re travelling because we are not rigged for Bluetti panels

Hi again mate I have just watched your episode about the bluetti I have been interested in these for a long time, hopefully to replace the need for a petrol generator but in all the reviews I have watched none have shown how long battery will last just using for aircon have you done this test yet thankyou and thanks for your great channel your content is always great ,very informative

Thanks mate sorry for the late reply but I’ve had a very busy week undergoing a few tests. I have an episode coming up on a few weeks time that incorporates the BLUETTI and I’ll definitely put it to the test and run our aircon to see how long we can get.

What I took away from this is that it is quite versatile but certainly doesn't hold that much power. Would be handy for some led lights, a small fridge etc. You said it's a replacement for a generator because you could recharge it quickly but if you had access to 240v then why would you need a generator anyway so that didn't make much sense. I am guessing you got to keep the item for a favorable review? Not being critical, just how it seemed to me.

you make some fair points mate, in the vid I recharge the unit from the van to point out it’s turbo charge facility when charging on 240v. In reality for us it’s hooked full time in the back of the Ute now and I recharge via our 12v while travelling or general driving. We run Starlink (240v) from it and the car fridge full time now, we also use it to cook outside with the induction cooker, air fryer etc as it keeps the van cooler. I’m now using it to power the van’s aircon which will keep it going for around 3 hours at 23 degrees which has been great on a few hot nights here in the NT. So yes it’s definitely replaced any need for use to use or buy a generator but each to his own

Thanks for watching, this vid was about the power station and the different applications it can be used for. We have a follow up vid if you’re interested where we talk about its real time application and how we integrated into our overall power management to replace a generator.
