    Most of rapid trains there're not fully underground, but also lifted. Suitable for those who want to tour KL city or greater KL with view from above at lower cost, chill & less walking. Plus all the routes are connected to each other.

    Hi Ken, I would suggest getting a prepaid Touch N Go card instead. With the card, you can save time by not going to the machine. It is also more convinient because you can just step off at any station if you decide to change your mind on your destination. The card can be used on all lines including the busses.

    • @kamalzaki7968
      @kamalzaki7968 Год назад +2

      Nk beli card pun dh rm10. Nak topup pun kena caj 50sen. Kalo dia masuk dalam card tu rm50. Bukan fully utilizes pun smpai rm0. Dia pun traveller, beli coins lagi berbaloi

      @@kamalzaki7968 sedara ni mungkin jarang guna public transport. kalau dia rely heavily on the public transport termasuk komuter, kos dalam sehari mungkin rm5-rm10 kalau pergi jauh. kalau dia sewa kereta, boleh bayar tol. sesetengah vending machine terima TnG. semua public transport under rapidKL terima TnG. naik komuter utara pun boleh bayar guna TnG. beberapa tahun lagi kalau dia datang lagi, masih boleh guna. lebih berbaloi sebenarnya. kalau dia tak nak datang lagi, boleh simpan buat souvenir. cuma klo naik Rapid Penang sesia la sebab dia accept cash je

      not really, the monorail is small 😂 and quite ‘jerky’ ride. KL built it in the mid of during 1998 financial crisis hence the train is made smaller than original plan.

    Monorail is quite nice way to look at the city. But not so good if you carry heavy luggage as I had to experience at Bukit Bintang "stesen" (stayed there in a hostel). No lifts there.
    Another good way to go around are the free coacg services. But they can become quite crowded

    This monorail station is small and not as excellent as the subterranean mrt station, however the view of KL from the top of the monorail is quite unusual because it is like passing through a gap in a building.

    The public railway system in KL & surroundings is pretty good & very efficient too. We also have a good public electric railway system upto Thailand border. There's also a good locomotive railway system to many out stations towns. The outstation electric railway system is on time. Very reliable. There's also a new electric railway line under construction from west coast to eastvcos

I went to quite a number of European countries and UK, sometimes certain stations there reek smell of human pee and also drunk people vomit. These countries had their transportation way earlier that South East Asia, so their station quite old.

    I really missed the motorbike taxi of Thailand (where I am now) on my visit to Malaysia. I appreciated the PAVEMENTS, Thailand doesn't understand those. It was ridiculously hot though. I had to delete a lot of pictures that I couldn't send to friends and family LOL. I flew internally instead of taking 6 hour plus coach journeys, the price was comparable. I sent a postcard from the gift shop in the Petronas towers to London. It took over 3 weeks to get there LOL.
