Hi, Your videos are very informative and easy to understand. I have hibiscus plants in 2 different plastic pots. One pot has a lot of buds but they drop off after growing little...I water once in 2-3days depending on the soil but still they don't flower. In other pots, the soil is little compacted and had the same problem during the summer season.
Can you please suggest what I can do to loosen the soil and avoid buds drop and start flowering.

Hi dear. Your videos and very simple and yet informative. Have seen almost all your videos twice. I'm fairly new to gardening. Hibiscus was my 1st plant which I bought in early feb this year. Since then it's been flowering well get one to two flowers everyday. But recently (last 15 days) the flower size reduced and now it's not forming any buds for the past one week. I have added vermicompost, epson salt last week but ko luck. I give the plant banana fertilizer every 15 days. Is this due to extreme heat. Pune is now hovering around 40 degree. it's in my balcony which recieves afternoon and evening sunshine.

also have a juhi plant which is not forming any buds and flowering for past one month. used the same fertilizer but no luck.

Mealy bug is main issue with hibiscus and best treatment to remove is cocktail of half tea spoon baking soda + 10 drops of neem or amy refined oil + 10 drops of any liquid soap in 1 litre water. Spay on infected braches (if too much infected then remove branch).
I have 4 different types of red hibiscus and other then red, I have while, light pink, dark pink and yellow + red. I never repotted my hibiscus plants rather prone then and grow new plants with cutting.
I am usually using mustard cake fertilizer and epsome salt. Rarely using NPK and DAP.

Heyy.. I propagated a hibiscus plant last year..this feb I repotted it into a 15 in paint bucket.. Till now it has grown into several branches but no flowering till now also the leaves are not fully green it has yellow patches..it does. Have mealy bug ussue which I am treating and has reduced significantly but leaf issue is still persistant.. I watched this video 1.5 months back and followed your instruction.. changed its location, added fertilizers(bone meal, onion/banana peal), check its water frequently, cut its tips added neem khali also.. since 15 days I got 3 buds but they are falling..What could be the issue of bud falling and yellow leaves

Yest another useful video. I have 6 varieties of hibiscus plants and all are doing quite well except one. This plant is almost 9 years old with a thick stem and used to give beautiful pink flowers. Of late, the leaves of this plant have started to curl and the flower size has become small. Looks like some attack of some type. What is the solution for this?
