The houses are pretty much small. Some of us living abroad can afford to purchase but the average Jamaican living in JA, there is no Jamaican dream.

what do you mean pretty much small? how much living space do you need? If you are a small family with one kid or two thats a perfect house. Everyone seem to want these huge houses that they can afford.
I design small house and these are more or less the types of houses i find most people want and they ae the most affordable. The only difference between my designs is that i dont use peaked roofs.
Also you do know these are NHT houses right? So anybody who has ever paid into the NHT can afford them. The government gives interest free loans for small houses like these.
I cant believe jamaican houses r so expensive they should stop catering to returning residents the jamaican s living there should be able to buy

Not Many returning residents can buy for those prices without a loan with high interest rate.
It's ridiculous at this point... and this was 1 year ago, today they have all raised about 45% in cost and we are not getting this quality space or workmanship
They need to fire these designers!

How about the laundry room? Geez! The design sucks. The bathroom sinks are for the birds. How about a damn vanity sink?

Most houses I know have the panel in the LR. I guess for easy access. Maybe it's the standard for buildings in Jamaica.
A lot of these house don't even have laundry room and our government is ok with that. That's why they can't put it in there cause for some it would be on the outside lol
This is the design that all the developers should adopt. Come on now, give a better quality of.life and not have everything look so cheap
So a space with a bathroom ... ordinary space is master bedroom.... unfairness ... expensive small houses building.... I'm so upset about the master bed room size..... look at what they call walking closet...only thing the back seems large for building
A few flaws with this but def not the typical nht house. At least the kitchen was satisfactory! Doesnt seem like much lsnd space for 13.5 mil.

54two bedrooms, one three bedroom, whose idea is that. So the owner of the three bedrooms will be the backra in the community, and therefore will be hated by all. Anyway, the whole place looks terrible. They could at least prepare the land, and the house are decided for poor people. The designs are for poor people. One could not even pretend to be anything but poor if they live in a place like that. Jamaica, what a mess!

NHT lending 6.5 mil that means one has to have 6.5 to deposit
Not necessarily. Can do a joint mortgage with one of nht partners such as ncb, scotia, vmbs etc. Go in to nht and they will best advise you on what best suit your needs
NHT offers 100% when it's a scheme unit and your salary can afford the monthly payment. Check the Mortgage calculator on their website to see how much of the 100% you can afford.

You can also join with someone to purchase, if I am not mistaken up to three persons can join to purchase
whats the size of the bedrooms?
Not sure of the dimensions. The master bedroom can fit a king size bed comfortably and the other room is more suited for a full size/ double bed
