I am so glad to see that the channel is still going great! I am going to use this for my big net that i can't throw yet. Keep up the awesome work and I hope that making those cast nets is going well.
@b1u491 Yeah man! The growth on this channel has been crazy Lol I'm actually melting lead into weights right now for the next net! I'm going to retire the net used in this video, it wasn't supposed to survive the gator hole episode🐊. This net made it into 3 videos (a new record!) haha You can use this method for the 10 foot, but tone the power down because it might want to snap back closed if you throw it max power. Give it a shot tho! It might blast open & be the perfect method for that net 👌
Good technique. My friend will bring the traditional 14ft in two weeks. It will be my first 14ft but...also my first traditional 😁, so your vid will help me ! Thank you very much! I'm happy to watch more vids from you. Great job!
@MightyKillah Dude, this technique will be perfect for your new 14 foot net!! You are going to love the traditional nets. After throwing a traditional bag net, you will never go back to the usual store-bought nets. Is your friend bringing it with weights already on, or are you tying the leadline on yourself?
@@CastNetSniper-p5d He will bring the net with the weights. I will try it as it is a few times, maybe 2 or 3 days before I customize it. Can,t wait to have it my hands. I'm like a kid... He will bring a perfect circle net thrower for my 8ft. Finally I will be able try this little thing by myself to see how it works. I will let you know.
@MightyKillah I know the feeling Lol. When you get your hands on a really good net, you almost don't want to fish with it right away because it's so perfect! The good thing about having a special net is you will take good care of it & repair it if it gets damaged. It teaches you to be extra careful where you throw & so much about patching the webbing and customizing the leads I'm exited for you man!! Let me know how that perfect circle thrower works & of it's good in real life fishing scenarios
@@CastNetSniper-p5d I will let you know for sure. Tell me, what do you think about chain cast nets? Do you think they spread well? Have you ever tried one?
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm already working on my new net & cant wait to test it out. I'm filming a tutorial showing how to build one of these nets in the next video 📹 Let me know how this technique works for you!
I saw your other tutorial but this one is different, what do you do with the lead line that’s in your right hand between thumb and finger as you are letting go?
This is my second technique that I use for nets that are heavier, larger, or more difficult to throw. You want to load about 40-50% of the weights into your leading hand & focus way more on the backswing. On my other technique, you let everything go at once, but on this technique, just snap the weights on the ground after release (or snap them left if throwing distance) You will be able to throw huge nets with this technique (in that case, you hold the lead line until all other weights have landed) Let me know how this technique works for you!
I absolutely love throwing the cast net! This video is awesome 🙌
Glad you enjoyed it! In my opinion, throwing the cast net is almost more fun than actually catching the 🐟 🐠 Lol
Another great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
I will re-do the "Cast Net Game" with a better Net next time, lol

would a 10 foot net work for this method also?

@jmd8693 Glad you enjoyed it! I will make this tutorial again, but with a HUGE net. Let me know if you try it out & how it works for you!
