The StraightTalk/Tracfone version has only 16GB internal memory and 2GB RAM. I purchased a Crown from Walmart /StraightTalk on Black Friday for $79 (down from their usual $189 price.) Also new this year on the J7 Crown (basically the 2018 version of the 2017 J7 Sky Pro) is you cannot open the back and remove the battery. The Crown cameras are both 13MP whereas the Sky Pro had 8MP rear and 5MP front. The Sky Pro can read up to a 256GB MicroSD card and the Crown bumps it up to 400GB - that doesn't help a lot when you CANNOT transfer many of your apps over to the card from the 16GB internal memory. Most of the 2018 J7's on the market only come with 16GB internal. You are lucky if you got one of the rare 32GB ones ( I'll bet you paid close to $200 for it).The Crown comes with Android 8.0 (Oreo)installed, whereas the Sky Pro last year came with 6.0 (Marshmallow) and cannot be upgraded - even to 7.0. I guess StraightTalk/Tracfone want you to purchase a new phone if you want to upgrade your Android to 8.0. The only other differences that I can find are that the rear camera flash is now positioned below the camera instead of alongside it. The Crown does not quite fit properly in my Sky Pro case - so it must be just a hair bigger - and the camera flash would be partially covered in the Sky Pro case. I was going to return the Crown because of the 16GB internal memory and non-removable battery, but since StraightTalk will not upgrade the Android on my Sky Pro (which works perfectly well) and I got such ridiculously low price on my Crown, I have decided to keep the Crown. The Walmart instore price has gone back up to $189 but the online price was still $79 when I checked this morning.There are not many reviews out there comparing the J7 Crown to the J7 Sky Pro so I was overly detailed on my comment. Sorry about that.
I was also able to just swap in my Straight Talk 4G LTE micro SIM card from my Sky Pro into my Crown and the phone works fine without having to port my number from the Sky Pro - it worked immediately. Mine works on Verizon towers, I think T-Mobile works with AT&T and I believe the AT&T/ T-Mobile version came with 32GB of internal memory unlike the 16 GB internal that most of the other non-contract versions come with.

@@kaykayjay8023 Unfortunately the J7 Crown does not come with a fingerprint scanner - but it DOES come with facial recognition.

Considering it's a budget device its pretty good but since its a GSM carrier one could get a NUU Mobile G3 with better specs for the same price and have better storage for example
Thank God I found a new Sky Pro for $95 on Ebay...my Sky Pro screen cracked 6 months ago and been using it for almost 2 years....things a beast...wanted another....with ability to replace battery and sd card
You should've got the Crown because I had the Sky Pro before the Crown and the Sky Pro cannot compete with the Crown in processing speed and Cameras... Everything else is pretty much the same except the non removable battery on the Crown. The Crown is like a Sky Pro on steroids...

The processor is actually the Exynos 7870 (not 7884) & it does not have super-AMOLED screen, it has only TFT-LCD, but a very good one.
I just bought one last night for $99 @ Walmart with a 32 micros storage card thinking it's only 16gb...lol..ah can't pass up $99 decent phone ! Thanks for the review😉

@@KillyoLol Amoled is better but Regular HD screen isn't bad. Depends on how much you care about screen quality. If you want best in class sharpness, brightness and color accuracy then Samsung Galaxy S8 and up is top of the line AMOLED
