I love that you had the bravery to speak on this topic. Imo, black men have bashed black women enough while uplifting “the others” that it has made “the others” so comfortable with having strong and negative opinions about us as black women. I agree, it’s no ones’s business but black women and with the struggle we’ve had with our hair, you would think people would appreciate the care and interest we’ve had in our self hair care and styling. She was out of line and had she not been watching black women so closely, she wouldn’t have even noticed or been bothered. I’m amazed at how she could have just stumbled on black women doing hair or paid that close attention to black women’s edges. I’m disgusted by the black women that forsook their own pride to pander to someone who just blasted them as a whole. I don’t do my edges that way but don’t see why it’s necessary to embarrass another woman for her choice in hair especially when you don’t belong to the community you are speaking of? I’ve had to check a so called friend (who I’m not friends with anymore) for saying underhanded things about black women…cause she LOVES black men interestingly enough. I’m officially a Seashell after this because I love someone who can peacefully speak her mind while being frank, unapologetic and real. We have to protect us, not help others pick us apart!

Freshman’s should not take AP. I feel like it’s easy too much pressure. My daughter had a hard time too. And make sure that AP is even beneficial for her on her college path. Some colleges don’t even offer the credit for taking AP. Her counselor should help direct her and what courses she needs 54:25

Hey Shelly!! I live in Charlotte and I absolutely love it! I’m from Brooklyn, NY and even though I love NY I feel like Charlotte is home now.. the FOOD!! It’s so many great spots but you HAVE to go to the food halls.. one is Optimus Hall, it’s in NoDa.. literally walking distance from my home.. amazing places to eat in there and there’s bars with great drinks.. there’s another hall uptown called Monarch Market.. this one is a little more of a nicer structure because of its location but both have amazing restaurants inside. Not to mention the steak houses here including Steak 48 (reservation required, 100% worth every penny).. I have a video on my channel called top 10 restaurants in charlotte which may help a little more but start with these I listed! 🫶🏾💕 p.s: absolutely LOVE your videos!

Hi Shelly!! I was recently on a search for some good DIY lashes and came across Pro Lash! They are a little on the pricey side but much less than a lash tech lol!!! I apply them on Saturday mornings and the usually last until Friday! I prep my lashes with their foam cleanser to help them attach better. If you try them I’d love to see how u like them! Nikao is similar and great as well. Keep in mind that the pastor is only physically present at certain churches on certain Sundays. All other churches watch him on a screen. If you ever come I would love to meet you! Charlotte is lovely 💕

I’ve always wanted to visit Elevation Church, I watch Steven Furtick on Sundays as well. I have a regular who use to go there and he said nothing but good things about the church. I definitely want to visit as well since it’s not too far from Georgia. I always wanted to do the tours but I missed the last one when they came to town too.

Also, places to visit "South end" there's bars, restaurants, shopping. You may enjoy South Park Mall and the area over there. There also a really nice rooftop vibe "Nuvole Rooftop"
