I was just 15 when this came out, and was utterly obsessed. Tonight I'm feeling nostalgic, this is a beautiful song.
this song never fails to take me right back to the summer it was released, shortly after i graduated high school. just an incredible song! i still have the cassette!
Another one that had me mesmerized around this time was spacehog in the meantime

yo same here summer of 95. this song has that early to mid 90s guitar tone going on.
@@justinhaynes1085dude that song especially. I remember this being released maybe a few months earlier. And other songs like Seaweed ‘Start With’,, Naked by the goo goo dolls, Sick of Myself by Matthew Sweet, or Stars by Hum, there were so many around this time
I live in a small town in Italy and, believe me or not, Buffalo Tom meant a lot to me and to my closest (and coolest😁) friends...

"When the leaves burn, summer ends" such a good line. Buffalo Tom just nails the melancholy/nostalgia vibe so well in their songs

I still love this brilliant song, it brings back memories of 1995 and all that was going on then. At the time I didn’t equate Summer with youth slipping away, but I do now.

This song rocks and draws emotions more than most. Such vocal dynamic range and passion. Guitar works, chordings, voicings are fabulous. Drums awesome and powerful. Wtf happened to music not long after the 90s?!

Love this song and the video is awesome too. My cousin got to listen to these guys at UMass Amherst daily while all I got at BC was Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. Shoulda went to UMass. Choose wisely kids.
