Legend of Korra: "Service and Sacrifice" cello cover by Jeremy Tai

The piece "Service and Sacrifice" comes from the finale of the third season of "The Legend of Korra". Composed by Jeremy Zuckerman, this music has a really special place in my heart. I have arranged it for 8 celli in order to bring out the lush harmonies. Right before the climax, I had to add the main "Avatar: The Last Airbender" theme, and the very climax at 2:08 is just so full of joy that playing it almost makes me want to cry.
*MINOR SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW AHEAD*
Although Korra (with the help of Jinora's spiritual powers) had managed to save the new airbenders from the Red Lotus, it came at a huge personal and spiritual cost for Korra. During the final scene of the season, Jinora is being anointed as an airbending master with the famous airbending arrow tattoos by her father Tenzin along with the rest of the new airbenders. It is such a touching scene, with Tenzin being so incredibly proud of his daughter for surpassing him. The entire ceremony is a celebration of the new Air Nation which had once been nearly eradicated by the 100 Years War before "Avatar: The Last Airbender". Although Korra is happy for the new nation, she has suffered lasting trauma physically and mentally. The very last frame of the show shows a broken Avatar, and it will take a long while before Korra can overcome her post-traumatic stress disorder and depression.
I recorded eight 4K resolution videos and cropped each one in half, which makes a total of a true 8K resolution final product. This will be my first and probably last time I will record like this, because I have found out that my computer much like 99.8% of computers cannot really handle 8K videos.

The music from Legend of Korra was simply perfect and so emotional that I cannot listen to it without getting goosebumps.
Maybe now we finally get that official soundtrack release.
What's funny is that I personally don't even like the show (though I am a huge ATLA fan) and I get emotional listening to this too.
I actually first heard it in a compilation of ATLA and LOK music, and the song made a huge impact immediately. I imagined all of the kinds of heavy moments a story could have with this music. I may not have ended up enjoying Korra that much overall, but the OST is top notch
