thanks for the titorial but there is some thing weird ,you named the file " SAM_result" and the result was unclassified image (black) than you add a new file named test?it shows a good result ? so how we can fixe the unclassified problem?
It is available in the envi installation folder. You can download it from usgs, however, the spectral library format is different from the envi format, so you must convert it and the conversion seems difficult, the easiest one is just use the spectral library available in envi installation.

Yes, you still need to perform those atmospheric correction/boa reflectance, unless you are using L2 or L3 data, you don't have to do it.

Seems you are not understand, if you do atmospheric correction, you are exactly got BOA reflectance

You can do it with landsat, however, the accuracy will be very low, if aster doesnt provide swir anymore just use old aster imagery,
