A New Body for My Middie Blythe: Swapping an Azone Body for a Monst Body

- Today I explain why I wasn't happy with the jointed azone body that the fake Middie Blythes from Ali Express come with. So I searched Alie Express for something different and found a Monst Doll body. I'm just in love with the result!

The proportions on the new body definitely work so much better! What kind of clothes are you going to use for her? Is there another doll size that the clothes work on this body?
I did a really short video last night trying on some very limited clothing that I have. She fits the Skinny Ginny body really well. But not many people have those dolls. I am going to try and adapt some more of those outfits I have on my other Ginny dolls and make up patterns for her. Jay commented on that video and said that maybe Create-able Worlds clothing might fit.

Jay, you totally should. It's so cute. But don't you already have a Monst doll? The blonde with the long hair? I thought I saw that you had one in a video you made several months ago.

@@JayDollsUK You have so many dolls, it's understandable that you can sometimes lose track of which you have! As a favor to me, when you have time, could you pull her out and show her off on video--especially if you could try on Createable World clothing or make something for her? I am still considering getting one. Or maybe one without a faceup and doing my own customizing. I think they're so cute! I can email you the dress pattern I just made if you'd like. :D
No human's head colors match their bodies. ;-) I am glad you are pleased with her. ;-) What a cute face! The little outfit you made is really cute. Where did you find shoes?
Thanks! The shoes are from AliExpress. I got them a while ago. They were supposed to be "Blythe" shoes, but they are are pretty wide. They fit length wise, but the jointed feet are very narrow compared to the shoe. Perhaps with thick stocks or a little putty inside they would stay on. They fit the Monst feet better, but are still a bit loose, even with the stockings.
I like it a lot better.

This looked like it was pretty straight forward for putting it back together. When you did the hot glue was it basically around the round part of the neck piece? I have ordered mine but it will take a while to get here.
