The new face mold is called Radiance Evolution :) Sometimes when they have bulky dresses, the stands are short and meant to be placed under the clothing. It is kind of weird. She's a really pretty doll.

When you think of how many times the license for Blythe has been sold, it is surprising. ;-) Congrats on your New Girl, she is really cute.

She does look stunning - I really love the coat and bonnet, she would look really great as part of a winter display, obviously it's a shame that despite having the muff she can't actually use it because her arms don't bend. Her eye chips really suit her, the colours look great. Sad that the hair still hasn't been sorted though, although it doesn't look as greasy as some of the old releases were.

Thank you for reviewing her! I find this doll very pretty, and very Victorian. Lovely face up. I also love all the 4 eye colours. The red coat and the bonnet look very well-made. I had no ideia Takara wasn't making Blythes anymore and now they'll be made by Good Smile. I couldn't notice any difference in the face mould, it looks the same to me. I think it must be a very slight change. I agree with you about the hair. This is the biggest problem I have with original Blythes. They are rather expensive and the hair, oh, what a nightmare right out of the box. I do hope this new company improves the quality of the hair. It is a difficult problem to have because you can't just change the wig. I think you have to change the whole scalp if you want to change the hair. I remember my Dauphine Dream's hair--awful! I spent tons of conditioner and anti-frizz product on her to make her hair just acceptable. But all in all, this Blythe is old-fashioned and adorable, very ladylike.

She is so cute,Also I have two questions,Where can you get new Blythe dolls at and what's the price?
Also do they make them in any Gothic Lolita style dolls or Kawaii Goth style dolls or Victorian Goth style dolls or any Goth style dolls?

Hi! If you live in the US, for the new upcoming Blythe dolls manufactured by the Good Smile company, I will have them available for purchase in my Ebay store once they arrive. I plan on eventually creating a website and will likely hold pre-orders as well. For the older Blythe dolls manufactured by the Takara company, you can still find some on Junie Moon or CC Toys (these shops are located in Japan and Hong Kong). Price typically ranges from $250+, depending on the doll. I think they may have done some Gothic Lolita dolls in the past, but I'm not sure if any is available at those shops. You can also try looking in some of the Facebook groups or Ebay.
