- In this video, I'll be listening to another song by Dimash called Be With Me! Quick note, I realized that Dauren was the writer of the rap part, not the performer, but just shows how incredibly talented Dimash is and what a great writer Dauren is! But after listening to Screaming last week, I saw some of you in the comments mentioned this song, and after listening to it, I definitely see why! I love seeing this side of Dimash and these music videos have been incredible! If you haven't heard this song yet, you need to check this out!

Hey guys, I realize my comment I left last night didn't save because the video was Unlisted/Private at the time.. but I realized when double-checking the video last night that I read the website I got the information from incorrectly and that Dauren was the writer, not the performer.. It was a really long day with work, so I apologize for the mistake! I hope you all can forgive me for the oversight!

There are also people who claim that Dimash has a black belt. May I say something about this topic in general? Dimash said in an interview that he stopped taekwondo shortly before he received his red belt. So that means he has a blue belt.

@@sisterlori-annlawrence6553 As a matter of fact, Dimash said in one of his interviews that he reached the red belt, which is one rank below the black belt in Taekwondo. The belt rank system differs in karate where the brown belt comes right before the black one. He excels even in Martial Arts! ☺️
It's all him! He's rapping and doing the fight scene. I don't know where you got that someone else was doing the rap. He got someone else to write it but he's the one performing it.
You can see him doing it better in the Digital Show version and there's also a behind the scenes video of them recording this where they also rehearse the fight scene and the bottle fails to break on the actors head and Dimash hugs him and laughs.
I love the behind-the-scenes for this. You see him just stop, and there's this brief look of "oh no!" And then he's laughing and checking on the guy he hit. 😂

Dimash did taekwondo for a few years when he was younger, almost reached the red belt. So, yes, that`s actually him. And it`s actually Dimash rapping, in a couple of registers, lower first, then more mid vocal range. Dimash did taekwondo for few years and only gave it up because he was getting kicked in his throat and chest, I believe. He swims now to keep fit.
I love seeing Dimash in different styles of music. I don't normally like rap, but the way Dimash does it, I like it, plus he sounds so great in Kazakh! There is a version of SCREAMING. (IDOL HITS) where he also raps. In addition to the fact that the song Screaming is also very Nice and his voice is fantastic!

Dimash composed this song with a nod to two of his idols - Michael Jackson; the fight scene referenced Jackie Chan - and that was Dimash actually fighting (he used to do Taekwondo) and the rapping - I believe a Kazakh musician wrote the rap lyrics. And he can act! What a talent! 🙏🏻🇦🇺

No, he does not have a red belt. He had to stop Taekwondo a short time before because of health problems.
He gave up the week he would have received his red belt. So he reached the requirement. It's fine that Dears say ge has his red belt. He didn't have to choose, he was always a singer, he had a health problem at the time and he gave up because of that. Reference his BBC interview in 2018

The idea behind the “Be with Me” arrangement comes from Dimash (composer). He did a demo and added a dombra part. Yerlan Bekchurin, his friend and permanent arranger, got to work. He said, 'I think that deep down we were all inspired by the work of Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder ...'
Dimash commissioned Jordan Arakelyan and Dauren Shamuratov to write the lyrics for the composition. Jordan wrote the most important English texts and Dauren wrote Kazakh rap. (Jordan Arakelyan as backup singer and her husband are part the Dimash team. They have been the best of friends since their University years. Dismash is the Godfather to their son.)
The director Radislav Lukin praised Dimash's professionalism and acting skills. He took a maximum of 3 shots per cut. Cameraman Azamat Dulatov says that 'Be with Me' MV is a brand new genre. 70 people worked on this MV and it reached 1 million views after just 5 days.

He practiced Taekwondo for several years reaching a red belt, but gave it up because he wanted to spend more time with music.

Dimash can sing quite low too, as in Stranger, Love Is like a Dream, etc The rap part was written by Dauren Shamuratov but completely performed by Dimash.

The entire rapping part is Dimash. The rap part was written by Dauren, not sung by him. The backing vocals, the overdubbing all of it is Dimash. He does it live in his live performance of this song as well.
This is such a fun song. That guy writes the Rap part, does not sing it. Dimash does the rapping himself in his native tongue. This "bad boy" Dimash was quite shocking for some of his Dears when it first came out. Nobody has the same talent as Dimash, of course he is the one who sings and he practiced taekwondo for 4 years. If you had listened to a live you would have realized it better, but the clip is so nice. Lately he made a video for us where he was doing taekwondo training and said he should do it more often. He learned fight choreography for that scene, he wanted an action MV after the previous 2 were more fantasy/theatrical based. And Dimash raps through this song, watch the live version. I don't know who you mentioned, maybe the person who wrote that section? And Jordan (one of his backup singers at the time, and wife of his friend/brother Erlan Bekchurin) wrote the English lyrics.
Remember he's a young man, and like his friends he like to play games, rap, drive fast cars, motorbikes, horseriding, etc. So yes he raps and fight like Matrix in this song. There's some documentaries when you can see him training taekwondo. If you watch SCREAMING live he raps in that one too. The whole world is rapping so why did you think Dimash couldn't do it, when he sings in 16 different languages and plays 7 instruments and singing like nobody else in this world. Apparently this is part of his physical work out regime to keep up his core -including diaphragm - strength. Dimash also swims a lot to maintain and expand his lung capacity as well. He leaves no stone unturned to enhance all aspects of developing his instrument, and artistry generally. He has also trained, not only in classical voice, but in every genre of contemporary music; musical theatre, pop ,jazz, blues,etc. And THEN he has also mastered many different styles of traditional music / vocalisations- from many different countries.
