PD killed this car. It was always slow in a straight line but turned on a dime and had great acceleration. After the first 6 months of GT7 one of the handling adjustments just killed the car. Now it doesn't like to turn and is still so low it's like it's got a boat trailer on the back
This confirms why I'm not doing so well in the GTWS, it's not my lack of skill at all! :D Great video as always. Guess I'm picking a different Manufacturer next time!
Tidge, I am a beginner racer and a loyal viewer of your You tube channel. I'd like to know if you could do a tutorial on brake bias and how to know which bias you need and why. Do certain cars need it, or is it based on the tracks? Does it affect tire wear ? I know you would be the one to explain this best. Thanks, Vince
I can certainly look at doing a full/detailed brake down of brake bias. But in general I change brake bias on 2 factors; 1) Tyre Wear 2) Understeer / Oversteer So if the front of the car is wearing more I'll move the brake balance to the back, if the rear is wearing more I'll move it to the front. Depending on how the car is reacting then I'll look at understeer/oversteer, if it's understeering I want to move it backwards, if it's oversteering I want t move it forward.
Bro, I recommend you also include wing levels, which also indicates how PD has balanced the GR3 cars in mid to high speed corners. Another interesting bit of info could also be the weight balance front to rear. Many of the less viable cars have just had their front downforce under the current put to the minimum to restrict how viable they can be.
O don't worry that sort of data I'll lob on the website, I am storing all that information with each of the profiles, I just try to highlight the main aspects. But in the background I store everything in case of changes 👀
Genesis is owned by hyundai Tho regardless this car will never be decent. Windfire simply carried this car to the finals in gt sports. A case of the driver not the car.
I just haaate that other "luxury brand Genesis" because PD stopped caring for this one - and it was my favorite gr3/gr4 combo in GTSport... I will detest that new luxury one for as long as I live 😁🍻 and will never let any of my friends support it😅
On GTS I quite liked both Hyundai's handling but maybe PD altered the Gr3 or forgot about it in GT7 to make way for the Genesis..Genesis which was also awful at the launch of GT7 if I recall, but yeah it couldn't save fuel for sh*t tbh but I had some decent results on GTS with it, cheers Tidge and also it would be great if you were doing Manu tomorrow !! 😉 just saying.
THe BoP graphics at the start are fantastic! Love em
Great video as usual. Renault R.S.01 GT3 '16 is my vote!

Thanks for doing the Genesis ! As slow and spin friendly this is, I like driving it.
It's a real shame PD hamstrung the Genesis Coupe so badly in GT7 - it was a real left-field contender in GT Sport

Digit gaming has a video called "brake balance all, you need to know", from about a month ago, it should still be usefull 🙂
@@j.rolfsted Thanks, I will check it out.

Cheers Tidge, 🔥
Like deployed 👍
😎🎙🏎✅️
PD should let you finish this project and then work on a better BOP. Keep it up Tidge. Waiting for NSX, Lexus 17 and RX-Vision

As long as "Genesis" is a partner, I doubt this car has much of a chance

Crazy amount of work in this, thank you! Btw, link to a playlist doesn't work because it is a link to YT studio
Thankyou for the feedback! I've been through all videos and the playlist should now work, thanks for letting me know, I do appreciate it!
This car used too be so good.
PD murdered it...
Thanks again Tidge these are great.
Ford GT race car next please.
Thanks for this.
Can you do the peugout RCZ for beat the meta once? I think it is a power car in GT7.
I've already don the Peugeot RCZ in beat the meta, however I still need to do the car profile
Ford Mustang next and the plain Genesis.

We had family over on Manu day unfortunately :(, it's literally the wrong saturday this season
Hello darkness my old friend. Still don't know how I convinced this car to qualify for world finals twice.
You did unbelievable to get this car to world finals to be honest! Even just driving it felt like "Meh" haha!
Question: have you done this car profile with your new wheelbase?
This one was with the Moza, the latest one (Out tonight) is with the new wheel 😊
Question for anyone. Where do you find which tracks are low/mid/high BOP?
I went through them manually 🙈
Hi @tidgney could I please request a car profile for the McLaren F1 GTR
@Tidgney i started driving the 650 mclaren gr4 and someone told me not to rev the gears out...how much do you short shift that car?
A lot with the Gr.4 car, I need to start the Gr.4 Profiles so hopefully I can clarify in that profile!
True tests is doing all tyres, but each profile would take a thousand years
Also, different rated drivers and using different assists
I was expecting the lexus rc 😂😂😂
Renault or lexus gt3s please
Genesis mate
Vote for the NSX!
I raise you a challenge mister
Try winning a sport race without meta driving (like downshifting on full throttle and overrevving the engines)
I've done that many times already 😊, that's how I drive all the cars
