Charlotte d'Amboise (Chris) also won the LA Ovation Award for playing Roxie Hart in "Chicago."

Okay, a few mistakes I made:
    - Linzi Hateley's name is pronounced Hate-lee, not Hat-uh-lee
    - There's only one main licensed version of the show
    - There is some debate about whether the show started being written before or after they saw the opera, but suffice to say that the opera they watched heavily influenced their take on the story.

What about a video called "Basically the entire history of Les Misérables in about 7-and-a-half minutes."

I can do my best, though I know more about Carrie than Les Miz

@@shawnmulligan2894: For your information, the original London production of the show started Colm Wilkinson, Roger Allam, Patti LuPone, Alun Armstrong, Frances Ruffelle, Michael Ball, Ian Tucker, and many more cast members.
The production then transferred to Broadway in 1987, where this production ran for 6,680 performances until May 18, 2003, becoming (as of 2021) the 6th-longest-running Broadway show ever. The show opened with Randy Graff (replacing Patti LuPone) as the tragic heroine Fantine, and Michael Maguire, who won a Tony Award for his performance.
Speaking of which, the show won 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and became one of only 4 mega-musicals on Earth, along with Cats, Miss Saigon, and The Phantom of the Opera (all of which also did very well.)
Oh, and in my personal opinion, the show is my favorite musical of all time.

Actually, they saw the Opera first, and then they thought about making Carrie the Musical

Yes. I did not make that clear, but that was what I meant. They went to see the opera, then wrote the show.

Terry Hands didn’t direct Les Mis, Trevor Nunn did.

I know, I tried to correct that in a very brief moment in the video. He was an ARTISTIC director, not the director. My bad.
