Hey Dutch, your trespassers have most likely seen your signs and cameras so that probably was done to retaliate. Neighbor problems are a giant headache and I’m in the same boat…. Hope it works out for you. I too had to involve the police.

Do these TAPO cameras work off your home WIFI? If so how far away can they be placed from WIFI? I read all info about them tonight but no where do I see distance from wifi or do you have to use wifi extenders? I have Tactacam Game Cameras that have CELL Service and they send them right away. 55.00 a year for 250 photos to your phone, not sure if you have heard of them, I also have Spypoint but they aren't as good as the Tactacam. @charlottecannon314 it keeps people watching though...you've been back partially due to curiosity I assume, but content creators that sometimes don't make sense are all about the clicks & interactions moreso than common sense & directly solving the problem. If the problem is solved, the content isn't as good. Not saying this is made up as I just stumbled upon the channel, but agree it seems odd, & I'd handle it differently.

Sean, if the people are gutsy enough to trespass, I wouldn’t put it past them to poach out of season. Please think about reporting to Tribe and Game Warden. They need to be stopped.
I'm a fan of concrete pipe tape, over flashing tape, myself. But, if it works, it works.
I'd have called Law Enforcement, myself. And, where you are, I'd consider calling the Tribe Law Enforcement, and Game Warden, as well.

Sean, a previous comment mentioned bird strikes, that happened to us when we owned a camper, my other concern, looks like the UTV is out n the open, my thought they would break into the camper for hidden keys. But no signs of foul play. Keep all your possessions under the view of the camera. Or tow all your toys back home. It appears you have the space. Good luck.

Sean you should also call the game wardens and tell them about the hunters on your private property. See if they could come out and patrol your property to catch them.
This is Oklahoma if he calls the game warden he is looking for trouble they are not good guys they will try and find you doing something wrong also it's a catch 22 in Oklahoma I don't remember what county he lives in but it's a 50/50 canch they will turn it around on him we live east of the city and we have one great game warden and the rest just want the easy bust I called and ask for sam as he is awesome and when the call went out one of the bad ones came out and I had my pistol with me as we had some big wild hogs and some other creatures that it's best to be protected and he tried to write me up for hunting out if season and without a license he refused to take any action. With poachers on my property and acused me of trying to cover up my own hunting it took me two weeks to get sam out to take my report and set up a trap we got the guys in a few days with his help so it's a good chance it turns out bad

the window can be fixed on that camper : rv tech here, take the frame to a glass repair place. they can cut and fit a new window in and seal it.
I went through the same thing with my godfather years ago. He was older in is late 70's. With you dealing with possibly poaching on private property you should probably call the game warden as well. Glad you call the Sheriff I hope you find the crooks.
I am glad you filed a report. I also think you should hide and lock up your side by side before something happens to that. I would be worried just leaving it out there in the open. they could put stuff in the tank or just take it. Its sad that people are not the same as we were growing up.. Hope you feel better .

They broke that window bc its the biggest, most expensive. And will cause the most interior damage if it rains. These men are mean, as well as trespassers and thieves if they're hunting on your preoperty. File as many charges as you can. Guard the family.😢 Better late than never. 🤗
breaking one is also enough of a tell that you are in and out of the property - that you are around enough to notice damage - and potentially other stuff like illegal construction on your land somewhere - though you know you found the other end of that green roadway accessing your land, so they potentially may have too. It's your land, Sean, you have the right to use it when and how you want - poachers hunting when extended family are on the land is potentially very dangerous - I'm sorry you are having to deal with all this on top of everything else going on in your life -

They could be testing to see how long it take for you to fix/close it up, timing you to check your patterns.
It’s also best to keep the doors locked on your trailer ! Leaving doors unlocked gives trespassers all kinds of access to your property! Be on the alert! Keep doors locked!

You could donate it to someone that was left homeless because of hurricane Helene but you'd need to do it thru a church to claim it on your taxes as a charitable donation. You can claim book value on it that way if you do replace that window. There are still people living in tents in NC who are literally freezing to death! God bless.

I can barely walk so I cant work enought to pay rent and my family member is taking back their offer of a room.

If you have t mobile, they allow cell sign boosters. I got one Amazon. Antenna up about 20 feet point it towards cell towers. Booster must be registered with t mobile.

Sean , just a few observations ; why do you leave your slide-outs extended ? You will have some problems removing that tape , maybe even stripping some of the paint . The broken window could have been caused by a large bird .

Put your slides in to store it keeps tree limes form putting holes in your
Slides out roof and it helps keep the water out. Love washing the videos

Winter storage is very important to keep leaves and water out of the bump outs. Eventually you will get little weeds growing in the rubber seals and then you will have leaks everywhere.
I had that cold bug right before Thanksgiving. Starts out with sneezing. Feels like a headcold but will end up in your lungs. Hope your getting some rest. Glad you called the police. I would call the game warden myself so this way it will get the ball rolling quicker.
The bump outs should only be out if the camper is in use. It doesn’t take that long for the bump outs to move out to use.
Your kids they could move to it , to do home work or just a place out of your house for quite time for both sides , I use to eat a big breakfast then tell mom going in the woods or fishing at least then she knew where to yield to if I wasn't back for lunch or not supper time ..
If the sheriff's department can't do anything for you, spike strips will definitely work.

YES you need to file reports on your trespassers. The longer it takes you to call, the more clues get covered up, including by your activity.
On your new camera that you showed setting up..if you don't mind a suggestion...take it down and paint it brown or black to match the bark of the tree so the camera doesn't stand out like a sore thumb like it does being white

Sean, always call the police sooner rather than later. The reason for this is the fact that whomever may have broken the window had time for an Alibi, get away, etc.
It was glass on the blinds I saw. I just went and rewatched it. (17:04 of the last video)
I had 24 years in auto glass replacement and can't count the number of camper windows I replaced from large birds flying into them and not leaving any evidence.. Partridge,, turkey and others.
I did 35yrs in autoglass. I can replace that glass without removing the unit but I didn't recommend that unless the customer needed a less expensive solution

When it comes to cell service as a retired cell phone corporate employee found myself having to switch to the other of the largest organizations. Now we have great service. Plus most will not tell you that you can get an external antenna for many of the cameras so you can put that antenna higher in the tree. So many options these days.
They also have trail cams that are dual sim, & can pull from multiple carriers. He doesn't get signal on his carrier, but doesn't mean another network isn't getting a signal out there. My very rural property north of Skiatook is weak on At&t, but Verizon is strong...dual sim cams are great too if one network goes down (like Verizon), even just temporarily for a few hours or a day, then the other network would pick up enough to transmit data hopefully, & not be totally offline. They aren't that much more in price either...it's a matter of what it's worth to ya.

I work f9r the RV Dealers Association and would highly recommend Camperland of Oklahoma to fix that window for you. Owner Ron Shepherd is a really good guy. There might be somebody closer, but if not, Camperland does a good job.
What I saw looked like a BB passed thru the window shade, but it seems more noticeable from the outside for some reason. Good documentations of what's going on at the creek property could be very important as far as dates and current conditions, when you mow, beaver and wildlife action,. things you see from the cameras, when you add a new piece of hunting or camping equipment, who camps out and dates, celebrations, family days, condition of the creek itself, like keeping a journal. Dates will always be important. It works at least 2-fold, it keeps a lot of information at hand for you but it would be really nice to give the girls when and if you pass it down to them. So many memories.

I would suggest that you paint those white cameras in a brown color to blend in better with the tree . Tape off the lens and solar panel , then chose a color to match the tree's

Just an idea and I agree with another comment here, push sides in it protect the tops of the slide outs from rain, snow and whatever mother nature throws ur way lol. Sorry that happened people some people in today's society don't care, who they they hurt weather it's a bodily harm to another or destruction of people that are hard workers for what they have, sounds like whoever did that is a jealous person, that wishes or wants what you have. put up a cell phone repeater, the higher the better. get a camera and recorder that provides "patrolling" . It will move through a preset pattern, and track movements so it can cover almost 270 degrees. low enough power to run off a couple of solar panels and batteries
If you had the trailer at your homestead. You could use it was a guest house for visitors.
Or on road trips.
Or in the case of the okie weekend you'd be on site and setting up without all the travel time. To and from home .

Hey Dutch. Just a couple of suggestions here. If you want to find a bullet hole go up there at night and set a light up either inside or outside with the blind down and if their is a hole the light will shine right through it. If you want to prevent more broken windows you can or have someone apply bugler proof window tint. They sell it on Amazon. I have this installed on my shop windows and theirs no getting through it! Far as the up keep of the camper I’d tarp it up because sunlight will destroy it. It shrinks all the window seals and the roof membrane and before you know it the whole camper has rot from water damage. When you go to remove that flashing tape hopefully it won’t peel of the paint as well. To break down the glue on the tape or to remove the tape glue after removing it you can use acetone which may damage the paint or use fingernail polish it’s not as strong. Good luck buddy.

My guess is they wanted to see if anything worth stealing in there as to why they only broke one window.
Look into a cell phone range extender to boost coverage of you farm. If this works you could have 24 hour cameras working with cell service.
Maybe look into a stronger glass I have a commercial building and we have that I don’t know. I forgot what it’s called. Maybe a double glass. You know where it’s it doesn’t shatter really it doesn’t crack but it’ll hold itself, but it’s very very thick so maybe look into that as far as the better glass for a camper.
Research a cell signal booster. It may help enough to boost the service at least for an emergency call if necessary.
It is one of the larger ones and lower ones so if they were looking at getting in to see if there were any valuables, this would be easier access. They may have looked in and realized there wasn’t much to take to pawn or sell.
