When a old dude gets off the plane, he thinks all the girls want to kiss him, but later he finds out they were pointing at the new Atm being installed.
They surely must suspect something wrong is happening to them. Female con artists can be smooth for a while. But the longer the con goes on their act becomes tired and phony. Unless they're targeting individuals that for some reason simply don't care.
This is all preaching to the choir for entertainment's sake as you are correct: those guys are beyond help as it took them 50+ years to construct their low self esteem.
I told my wife before we got married almost 20 years ago. I will support you and no one else. If you want to send money to any of your relatives, get a job and send your money. I never gave her access to my bank or credit card accounts. She has a job and I helped her to get her own bank account and credit card. She doesn't like to spend money, from the day we met until now. You need to keep your money completely separate. Because she's going to be under pressure from relatives to send them money. Sometimes things come up unexpectedly, so I have lent her money. She always pays me back.
I have a similar situation but occasionally, I break my own rules and send something for things like funerals, good grades (nieces), mom and medical needs. It is a rare occurrence. My wife also has access to one credit card which she rarely uses and it is never more than $100. I do this to keep her safe from emergencies. She has already proven herself to me to be financially responsible.
I have a similar arrangement with my Filipina wife of 40+ years. And same here, she's ALWAYS under extreme pressure to send money back home - and does. I'll chip in occasionally for big emergencies like major typhoon damage, etc. Rarely, will a Filipina ever be a full contributing partner. In most cases, your money will be the family money, and her money will HER money! 🤣 You MUST have boundaries or she'll transfer all of your net worth to her family in the Philippines.
Excellent exhortation! Your message spoke volumes to me. While everyone's story is unique to themselves, I need to put my story (or outline) down on paper and send to you.
Thanks for the reminder. Women don't respect men who can't say no anyway, so you lose all the time. Men should always follow their own plans and if she doesn't comply she isn't for you.

Like the idea of getting a hotel room and cutting the wi-fi to get rid of the relatives....lol. When I first met my wife in Cebu, she was talking to an old man in the mall when we were taking a break from walking around. Finally my wife turns to me and says, he needs taxi money to get home, immediately I say no, and the old man gets up and hobbles away, think he was scared I would complain about him panhandling. My wife has smartened up a little bit but my Filipina is a sucker for a sob story. Will always keep our money separate when we retire there. Great video, Mike...Jim
No is a powerful word. I finally had to say that and i feel so much better and relax now there's always another woman out there for you and thus wasn't the right one to be with.
Getting in a relationship is not going to make you happy. If you're not happy in your life and happy with who you are and what's going on then you're just going to make somebody else miserable or you're going to find somebody else that's miserable and then you're both really going to go off the deep end.
So true! My wife never had access to my account. I gave her her own and when she was systematically overdrawing, I talked to the bank manager and let him take away her ability to withdraw below zero. And yes, I have been a whimp too in the beginning. I too had to learn the hard way. But now I have no more problem saying NO. I had to work too hard for my money to have other people spend it.

At least the guys that get swindled in the P.I. are having real life experiences as they go broke. But the real problem is everybody that sends money to strangers they've never even met. They can't even be absolutely sure it's even a girl! At least not really.

Brigitte L Jones. Want to say your previous video was excellent and had great insight about the reality of aging issues. You have tackled the NO topic well. It just doesn't just apply to girlfriends, but many Philippine people, the kids and the extended family need to be told NO as they don't understand a Western man's limits in finances or what he ought to really understand is appropriate to share with them. As a good guide the woman's son and relatives should only be given a small margin above what they would live off before that is really essential. Like the boy you have gets education fees covered plus perks like internet and basics of food the household has around. Birthdays and some special occassions are when something of a present (but not expensive) are provided. As your step son goes, you provide education, don't ever let him be rude and pushy (or else show him the door) and leave his male role models to younger male relatives.Your partner ought to have some money allocated in a trust fund if you become severely impaired and get the rest when you have exhausted any care you need and die. Stick to paying rego and bills yourself while you can still teach how to do this, even taking her along to see how and buy a nice lunch for a couples outing. You never want to put uneccessary temptation for a Philippina to get creative with money - even when well intended, but can have crazy ideas.
great topic. my Filipina wife is good at lot of things, but spending money wisely is not one of them. and every time i try to cut us back, not give her so much. she just borrows from a friend or pawns something. so its a never ending cycle.

Honestly…. If this is the expat community…. Sounds like there’s issues well beyond being told this. Thankfully the people I am talking and listening to are not like this publicly. But coming here for the very young girls and expecting what is being sold is not transactional seems disillusioned to begin with. If you have issues being used for money, then select partners that the relationship between you and them are based on actual experience rather than just looks and youth. Reap what you sow. Good one Mike. The most important word here is NO. My wife always asks me permission for everything. She knows she has a good thing and does not want to lose it. Peo ple have a problem with the terms Sugar Baby and Sugar Daddy but that is exactly what these relationships and marriages are. Is there love involved? In many cases there is but it is still a Sugar relationship no matter how much love there is. Your girl must respect you for it to work. If she has respect, she will be open and honest with you in all aspects. You have to make your expectations clear from day one. I did that and everything works well. If your girl asks for something you do not agree with simply say firmly. NO BUDGET. They have used those 2 words their whole life.
My father, a WWII combat veteran, raised me to have a spine. My children and EX heard NO many times. I was a federal bank examiner for 34 years and spent too much time instructing the trainees to find the courage to ask tough questions. Seemed that they didn’t want to offend anyone. Sometimes you have to offend people. This is the best advice I heard from an expat so far.

Hi Mike. Will you do a few videos on women ex-pats and what their experience might be like, and or, how they might be received and safety precautions? Thank you!!
Wise words Sir! I'm glad someone is saying this. I'm here and have been since 2022. I've seen and experienced a lot. "No" is a complete sentence. All filipinas are not good, bad, scammers, etc. This is a whole playing field and you have to learn it if you're going to succeed here. But you CAN find an incredible woman here as I have. It kind of goes like this: next, next, next..........wait, what do we have here.....observe, observe, whoa, I found what I was looking for!
Great video, I'm on my third girlfriend now, you get no respect when you don't say No, don't be afraid she leaves because they never leave unless you force them to leave, they don't want you but they surely want your money
@@roger.b8046 do you have a girlfriend or wife and kids. Or even no kids. Relationships take no money? That’s why you are on your third girlfriend. Seems to me you want someone you can dominate more then a partner
Mike that one thing people must understand when you in a developing or third world country. They see you westerners as a banker or an ATM machine. I am from an island state, this is the same here. These ladies are not scamming you it is you that does not have the responsibility to say no to their charlatans. My principles is the first day you decide to live or have a relationship set the records strait the do and dont. When you have make your position clear and it is not respected you tell her what will happen to her if she does not respect you. This country have millions of ladies waiting for a man I wonder if I could settle down there me, so why these dud fall in these traps.
Age gap relationships are 99.9% of the time based on finances. If you say NO, then what are you offering?💁♀ The biggest problem is when the old men think the girls are in love, if you accept its strictly transcational then you both can live happily
False... nothing to do with age gap relationships. If my partner or spouse has an ATM card there will be a limited (appropriate) amount of funds available to her. If the man isn't proficient to manage his funds, no relationship may be right for him (US or Philippines). Some men just want to be a victim.
@ 20y/o women are NOT sexually attractive to 60y/o…stop trying to fool yourself🤡😂 you don’t not make young woman’s Psy wet, but her young bf on the side does!
Very good advice. The fact that older expats are going to third world countries to find " love " comes with expectations. These young girls see you as a " mark ". It is so blatantly obvious. Play the game, but don't be oblivious to the expected con game. Financial security is their short game, and long game. Have fun, but protect yourself. If the current younger girl is with you, there are plenty more that are willing and waiting to take her place. If you see the obvious signs of a financial leach, just move on to the next one. You have the power. You should be making the rules. I completely agree. Man up, and move on to the next one. Be the rock star, not a simp. Remember, you're the one that's considered rich. And being rich in a third world country is being entitled. Why trap yourself ?
The natives will take advantage of you as much as you allow them to. I was told some good advice Years Ago by a businesswoman there in the philippines...... they will never say no to money
A married Philippine woman broke my 12 year old marriage while ex husband and myself did a tour in Japan! This women are all about the ATM not the old man🤦♀️
It's a 2 way street. There are a lot of cheap expats that use the Filipina. And there are Filipinas that do the same to us. Some people are just caring and will give more. If it is going to hurt you to give extra than say no. So situations are case by case. To Just say No .....I agree if the result will hurt you. The Philippines is good for old guys like myself since it is easy to find much cheaper rent and younger Filipinas to help to care of us. Yes avoid scams and listen to sound advise that Vloggers like Mike give. But give by the heart also and don't be cheap with the person that is taking care of you.
Another great video! I'm planning to come over to the PH soon, you're making us aware of the kinds of things that go on over there. Looking forward to watching your next one, Thanks!!
Letting someone run you out of your own home does not show "having balls." My name is on the lease, not theirs. They WILL leave. Voluntarily, or booted by the Baragay captain or city police. If the gf interferes, she goes too.
Brigitte L Jones. Leaving your home can be wise when elderly to avoid a confrontation where you are in a lesser position physically and from retribution done sneakily with many more to take their side than being a solo farang. Besides it seems an insult not to share with them when seeming to have the resources to.
I think it's hysterical when I watch videos about men that got ripped off by some woman.... I just laugh and laugh and laugh... Usually it's guys that are fat... Ugly.. or old... All we got to do is look in the mirror and say why is this 20 year old woman with me... $$$$$$
Why waste time to look at an unneeded video. Only idiots can't say no! And never showing up with gifts. And never give one peso to family. It's that simple.
Mike this is not new information. I have heard of these stories on many Philippine webb sites. My understanding this is part of the culture and its not going to change. I have also heard if you put your foot down then you are the " Cheap Charlie" and you have become the problem. Rent do not own girl friends. I hear a lot of men live by themselves because they cannot afford girl friends on their $ 1500 a month pensions.
Probably an unpopular opinion: Thank God somebody is finally telling these guys the truth! As a woman looking at retiring in the Philippines (not going over looking for a relationship and no, I'm not a man hater), I watch video after video where Western men get together and tell each other they are traditional, alpha males who have found traditional relationships with young, beautiful Filipinas because they couldn't find a match in the States for whatever reason (generally some iteration of "western women are bossy"). Then comes the litany of complaints, often centering around these same guys not being able to handle the everyday issues that arise in a Western/SEA relationship. Not surprisingly, the self-defined "traditional" guys can't see that they might be a good chunk of the problem. There has got to be some self-reflection if the manbabies over there really want long term peace and happiness.
I not looking to move there and find a girlfriend or wife. I'm looking to retire there. Early at 62 in 6 years .and just relax so some fishing and check out places. I've been single for so long now I don't even care if I find a new lady. I'm happy being single.
That is a terrible attitude! Money is the root of all evil! So you guys left the US cause American women would not let you control them so you went someplace so you could control. How sad!!
Very good topic but I have to disagree with you on one point. As you said, a man has to be a man. He has to take charge of himself and his situation. By that logic, moving out of your own home rather than taking charge and forcing the deadbeat squatters to leave doesn't really fit. This is especially true if you're going to try and keep the girl because you have shown weakness and just given her another way to manipulate you. I mean seriously..... this whole video is about being a man, right? A real man would never allow himself to be forced out of his own home. A real man doesn't run away.
Good timing, with this video, Mike. What happens when you meet a well-educated, higher class Filipina, who has been pampered and catered to, her whole life, then has to become the lady of the house, a Wife, without pampering and being catered to? Let me tell you, it's not pretty! 😲😵💫😡 Now we're trying to decide who gets to live in the new house, and who has to move out. She can't provide for herself and teen Daughter on her income. But at the same time, I have a huge financial stake in the house... I guess we'll have to find out? 😎
In Iraq word came down in 2006 that checks were no longer accepted in lieu of cash. I asked around since I had to use cash to buy a Royal Jordanian ticket to get outta BIAP on leave. It turned out the wives/women stateside would go to the bank at 4:00 am EST on paydays and withdraw all money from the account. So 180K a year but their checks bounced. You could tell the guys this happened to. They were the ones using the Any Soldier box for their toiletries, pens, etc. Mike's giving the "Listen Up Privates" talk every Private needs to hear when they get to their new unit. Some need to get it again and again and are still BAF.

Mike , this truly is a interesting video. It's comes across as tho you are talking to your younger self 😮
Hi Mike jenny here, some great advice , spot onbe tough but it's your money not hers g/fs should not take over, and it's your place get the f... out tell her to go too, stop being a doormat , plenty of great honest women there that would kill to be just happy and loved, plenty more fish in the sea the old saying goes, cheers and hi janet love you both, I'm feeling better looking forward to travelling soon cheers guys❤
Thanks Jenny
Are beautiful 20 or 30 something women anywhere on this planet dying to be with a 70 year old for non financial reasons?
Loved this!! No sugar coatin! “Have some balls!!” Thanks Mike! That’s our blind spot as men. We want to please our women so much and yet we’re still labeled knuckle draggers(in the west, at least)
So true!
Mike ! Your videos are great! Keep up the great work reporting
Great topic Mike 🫂👍
First time to comment here> Mike you are absolutely correct.
Thanks. Please comment on all videos. Welcome to the show. hahaha
Great video, I'm on my third girlfriend now, you get no respect when you don't say No, don't be afraid she leaves because they never leave unless you force them to leave, they don't want you but they surely want your money
I hear you! It’s tough!
All relationships and having a family take money
@@ChaseNicholas-y1g no they don't
@@roger.b8046 do you have a girlfriend or wife and kids. Or even no kids. Relationships take no money? That’s why you are on your third girlfriend. Seems to me you want someone you can dominate more then a partner
Great Advice my Brother R.I.P. Glad you said it like it really is.
Even if you give them, they have short memories. The first time you say no, after giving them thousands they will hate you anyway.
Exactly...........that's the truth......100%😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Mike that one thing people must understand when you in a developing or third world country. They see you westerners as a banker or an ATM machine. I am from an island state, this is the same here. These ladies are not scamming you it is you that does not have the responsibility to say no to their charlatans. My principles is the first day you decide to live or have a relationship set the records strait the do and dont. When you have make your position clear and it is not respected you tell her what will happen to her if she does not respect you. This country have millions of ladies waiting for a man I wonder if I could settle down there me, so why these dud fall in these traps.
Perfectly said, but to answer your question.... No they can't handle the truth.
@@Iron2011robFALSE! And you are wrong 🤡 age gap relationships are ALWAYS based on finances!
@@openranks4519 "ALWAYS" you are funny in your absolute response. Yes some are, but some are not.
@ 20y/o women are NOT sexually attractive to 60y/o…stop trying to fool yourself🤡😂
you don’t not make young woman’s Psy wet, but her young bf on the side does!
@ ALL not some…you clearly don’t understand women
Well said, Mike, you ain't no simp.
NO... Well said Mike
Thanks Kevin
Never give them access, and its usually breaches debit card use to allow someone else access.
The natives will take advantage of you as much as you allow them to. I was told some good advice Years Ago by a businesswoman there in the philippines...... they will never say no to money
A married Philippine woman broke my 12 year old marriage while ex husband and myself did a tour in Japan! This women are all about the ATM not the old man🤦♀️
Well said
It's a 2 way street.
Glad to help. Come on over!
This topic is not only over there 😅🤣😂
Letting someone run you out of your own home does not show "having balls." My name is on the lease, not theirs.
Don’t shower women with money. Don’t buy love
And don't pay them money to shower with them, either!
Very well said Sir! Totally agree!
I think it's hysterical when I watch videos about men that got ripped off by some woman.... I just laugh and laugh and laugh... Usually it's guys that are fat... Ugly.. or old...
All we got to do is look in the mirror and say why is this 20 year old woman with me... $$$$$$
Age is just a $ , I meant #
Well said Mike !
They are not being scammed they are just stupid, some of them are just idiots.
i
Of course they are but is it their fault if they’re of low intelligence. 🤷♂️
wqith online banking money in and out can be controlled on an immediate basis; you are spot on.
Why waste time to look at an unneeded video.
Only idiots can't say no!
And never showing up with gifts. And never give one peso to family. It's that simple.
they're paying for a fantasy and don't want to turn that dopamine hit off
You'r right on the spot Mike!
Great info thank you so much❤
True 😂, stand up
Mike this is not new information.
Good talk Mike 😊
There has got to be some self-reflection if the manbabies over there really want long term peace and happiness.
this is almost entirely false,
I not looking to move there and find a girlfriend or wife. I'm looking to retire there. Early at 62 in 6 years .and just relax so some fishing and check out places. I've been single for so long now I don't even care if I find a new lady. I'm happy being single.
Good for you!
Smart advice.
Cannot believe the naive simpletons who lack self esteem and strength of character.
On our second date, I told my wife she comes second to my money. under no circumstances, I am going to go broke because there is no way I can recover.
That’s the right attitude.
@@hammertyme8392 Wonder how many filipina would enjoy hearing that?.
how romantic.
That is a terrible attitude! Money is the root of all evil! So you guys left the US cause American women would not let you control them so you went someplace so you could control. How sad!!
Good video Mike
What are you doing in the philippines?
Mr know-it-all
he's living his best life, like most of us do there. you?
Here’s another one.
If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything!
No in Tagalog is "Hindi". Learn it. Know it. It will keep you sane.
Paumanhin, walang pera............sorry, no money
Now we're trying to decide who gets to live in the new house, and who has to move out. She can't provide for herself and teen Daughter on her income.
But at the same time, I have a huge financial stake in the house...
I guess we'll have to find out? 😎
Mike................you listening..........might be a good educational video.
that first sentence is a complete turn off. might as well date a western disaster / woman.
You are going to have to decide what's best for you.
If you have trouble saying no.
SOMEONE IS ASKING YOU FOR TOO MUCH !!!
Can’t control her … seriously? Let her go … there are more women out there than rain drops … move on!
Great video bro. Sounds like you been there and done that. Cheers 🍻🍻
It's all part of the learning process.
Yes Yes Yes Yes 💯💯 ❤❤❤
thanks Roy
@mikesphilippineretirement That rant touched my heart, Sir I wish I had that tough love when I first moved here 13 years ago, I that this video will save more than one man coming to the Philippines, you're the best ❤️
