  • An Art Historian's Review of the Visual Elements and Principles of Design for Students. In the second half, the video includes information on what makes an artwork look naturalistic (or realistic). The goal for students is to write about and discuss artwork using vocabulary that is somewhat specialized correctly and comfortably.

Thank you so much. This was informative. Btw what is the name of the painting during the rhythm explanation?

I'm glad to hear that! Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the painting is called. I included some student work and other non-professional works from public forums. It's a shame not to be able to credit the artists - or know who they are!

This would be a good presentation IF the person who is speaking would pause for moments! And allow the listener to capture and process the information. Unfortunately I couldn’t follow through! I have to look for another video.
