Kershaws lineup is really the most impressive evry year! well thought through, covering the whole market and despite being a spyderco midrange guy, I love the ZT´s as high end production folders most of all. just plain quality in materials and precision for the buck! Plus that guy is by far the best, and most humble and nice slaes guy of all SHOT show vids. knows his stuff! Great vids guys!
I'm LOVING that Launch 1 for sure! HOLY SHIT! I don't give a damn! If the MSRP is $149. It would be around or less than $100 I would say. That's a DEAL for a push button auto in s30v...
I'm glad they are incorporating multiple clip mounts in the new models. I have been looking for a weak side, tip up carry blade for a while, but every time I find a blade that works for me, the clip is either on the wrong side or it is tip down carry.
I really like that 0808. I could see myself getting one. It is also nice to see some higher quality throwing knives on the market... but they look a bit light.
I am getting so pumped about the shield. I hate the Cryo pocket clip and look. And always though the eklipse looked badass and now I can get a nice affordable one.
I honestly don't care what design no Bo's they do, name all over the blade or wide face knives. ITS GOOD DAMN STEEL AND WAY BETTER PRICING then anyone else. Kershaw/ZT has the knife world on lock
does the 0900 have a TI stand off in the back? It looks like it only has two screws (pivot and 1 back spacer) and I'm assuming there's a stand off as a spacer would require 2 or more.
Kershaw / ZT are consistently offering better products than Benchmade / Spyderco. I miss the old Benchmades, but some of these ZT's are incredible too.
Les George was the most interesting. The emerson drop point wasn't feeling that.. I just purchased the 620cf and that one blows most of these new models away. Was expecting more from ZT but i hope they make that up in 2016.
There are some misses for me in the line up but I appreciate that Kershaw makes affordable knives. Even their American made knives like the blur, piston, skyline etc. are a lot less than pretty much every Spyderco and Benchmade (yes Spyderco has the Byrd line (hideous looking) and Tenacious (when will they ever change it up?)). On another note, wish they would add more jimping or any jimping to some of their knives. Also it would be cool if they made a frame lock version of the Blur.
Did anyone take a look at what kind of washers are used on those Kershaws. They have been using a lot of nylon washers on their knives lately so I'm just wondering.
I hate how almost all the ZT knives come with this bigass axe edge bevel, while regular kershaws are usually ultra fine cutters... most of the people who'll buy these are not gonna open a tin can with 200+ USD knife, so you might as well make it easier to carry out the main function it is intended to - cut well...
yes, I'm referring to just that. sadly, experience shows that edge angles are always the same, just the thickness behind it varies :) I'd rather have a 45 degree edge that is 0.4mm thick rather than 30 degree edge that is 0.8mm thick :)
take the first zt hinderer collaborations. they had enormously thick edge bevels. the same happened to the 0801 and that other limited edition collaboration...
mindsmirror Yeah there are two variables. How thick it is behind the edge, and the angle of the bevel. Most ZT's, Kershaws, Spydercos, Benchmades, Cold Steels, ect... are sharpened from the factory at 15-18 per side. So the height of the bevel on these knives is mostly effected by the with behind the edge. I think a lot of knives come with two think of edges, especially out door knives. I got a Ontario SP10, I measured one edge at 26 degrees and the other at 24 degrees. The tip is most likely at 27 per side. By the time I resharpen at 22ish per side and blend the bevel, I will be like half the way up the grind.
But that ring on the throwing knives would make them difficult to throw.... i have a CS ring dagger, but i can not use it for throwing since the blade is fully hollow ground and very thin
i do not like that the opener button is the closing button seems a bit easy to accidentally press with your fingers in the way of the blade when in heavy use. other than that love the company
The only thing that has made me lose interest in that awesome Kershaw Link, was the 420 HC steel. I've had it, and never again will I get one. Terrible edge retention. If Kershaw would have it in s30v or even 14C28N for a higher price point, i'd totally buy it.
Okay... I am a Kershaw fan through and through but how can any company justify $200+ for a mass produced knife? IMO those are custom made prices. I was more intrigued by the offerings under $60 . I feel like the Dune is going to be a home run for Kershaw and I would like to see the RBK with some different blade designs.
I am going to pick up a Dune for sure. I don't know why they chose 3cr13, it's a crappy steel. Since I see this as a last ditch defense knife, the steel doesn't matter that much.
17:03 oh yeah.. who doesnt like a bottle opener at the end of the handle where your hands might slip to... it will F you wrist and palm up big time i guess... not so impressed with this piece
Kai... Just when I thought I was out, you DRAAAAAAG me back in!!! Hittin' out of the park yet again. 0900, 0808, 0452, 0450... Winners. ps. And the removal of ZT logo from the blade is the cherry on top. :)
You should ask them what the blade steel is on that "starter" series knife. Be much appreciated. Also, $125 for a tactical pen? Seriously? Are they smoking crack? My Uzi pen is the same thing plus a handcuff key for only $20! Thanks in advance. Take Care and Be Aware.
Their website is actually probably the best knife website I've seen, extremely organized and detailed, tons of pictures. I'm sure the steel is on there for whichever knife you;re interested in.
Why g10 textured plastic and not just g10? There is plenty of budget blades and budget companies that use g10, plastic handles make a knife feel cheap in my opinion.
Cant wait to check out some of these knives when they come out in March....... of 2017!
Kershaw is ruling this year, from what I've seen thus far!
Zt and kershaw stepping their game up!! Please make a small tilt that's what I've wanted forever
ZT Kershaw smoking in 2015. By far the best line-up I've seen to date!
The kershaw shield is my knife of the year! Compact, slick, and aggressive looking!
Out of all the companies this year, Kai seems to have the best and most diverse new releases.
Good job.
Kershaw finally stepped it up with the USA offerings this year... Loving the Launch 1 and 3 ... and the model 1776 .... ZT 452 is super sweet.
The pocket clips and logo branding are killing these knives.
I see what you mean but it isn't a big deal and definitely isn't a deal breaker.
The logo doesn't bother me too much, but the pocket clips really are terrible. Wish everyone would follow SOG on their awesome deep carry pocket clips.
I think ZT and Kershaw knocked it out of the park this year.
Holy shit I'm LOVING the "Link" too! WOW!!! I'm really impressed so far!
ZT 0452 is DOPE too!
Les George, Hinderer & Emerson and American made, with great quality control and materials. There's a reason I love ZT, so much.
Kershaw if your reading the comments. Please work on your pocket clips. Also, I'm all over a ZT/Strider collaboration.
The ZT 0450 looks like the perfect high end upgrade to my Kershaw Chill! I love it and the 0452!

Man, Kershaw is kicking butt this year. Definitely picking up a Launch 1.
Every time this guy says "cool" take a shot...
I'm LOVING that Launch 1 for sure! HOLY SHIT! I don't give a damn! If the MSRP is $149. It would be around or less than $100 I would say. That's a DEAL for a push button auto in s30v...
A lot of pretty sweet looking gear from Kai this year...
More for the Collection!
Shane Burton off to add them to the long, long list...
Love the kitchen knives, great to know the company have been in business for many years.
Definitely gonna get the Link, all the new colors on the Shuffle and Shuffle 2. Great collection and gift knives.
Excellent new offerings!!
I'm digging the Shuffle with the washed finish.
That Dune is on my "Buy Soon List " !
Those autos are the best looking Kia knives I've seen in a long time outside of the zt line
ROFL at the tomahawk with a bottle opener. Yeah, just drinkin' some brews and chillin' with my tomahawk.
I'm glad they are incorporating multiple clip mounts in the new models. I have been looking for a weak side, tip up carry blade for a while, but every time I find a blade that works for me, the clip is either on the wrong side or it is tip down carry.
Love the new ZT knives.
I would buy a lot more Kershaws if they got over their speed assist obsession.
Really exciting new line!
I really like that 0808. I could see myself getting one.
It is also nice to see some higher quality throwing knives on the market... but they look a bit light.
great stuff.. luv the autos
Im getting that neck knife ASAP!
My dream knife from Kershaw would be the glass breaker Blur model with an s30v blade with a black wash finish.
Kershaw stepped it up....very nice.
love that ZT0450
I need that ZT0808 NOW!
I am getting so pumped about the shield. I hate the Cryo pocket clip and look. And always though the eklipse looked badass and now I can get a nice affordable one.
I seriously need to know the estimated release dates for these knives. I want quite a few of them and want to have the money handy when they come out.
I am really liking the 0450
I honestly don't care what design no Bo's they do, name all over the blade or wide face knives. ITS GOOD DAMN STEEL AND WAY BETTER PRICING then anyone else. Kershaw/ZT has the knife world on lock
Can't find the kershaw ion throwers anywhere? Are they out yet?
Ryker Mullinix www.bladehq.com/item--Kershaw-Ion-Throwing-Knives-Set-of--27405
Put it on the Wishlist!
Dear KAI, is it so hard to drill some extra holes for the tip-down carry guys like me?
JD They have plenty of tip down knives. But I agree. Hate when a knife is one or the other instead of both.
CQC4K XL - Count me in!
The launch 2 😍
I wish that Shield model was the same size as the actual Eklipse, 3.5". I have semi-big hands and prefer 3.5"-4" blades.
I hope they actually release in 2015
does the 0900 have a TI stand off in the back? It looks like it only has two screws (pivot and 1 back spacer) and I'm assuming there's a stand off as a spacer would require 2 or more.

WOW Great vid!!!!!!!
Kershaw needs a Cryo II G-10.
great idea!
the 0452 looks really nice. would love to have one ^^
Still patiently waiting on my 0562cf. Pre ordered from blade hq 1/21/14. Any idea when those are coming in?
stuffit508 I don't have that information, but you can check with customer service: 1-888-252-3347
Make the shuffle two tip up carry
Les George was the most interesting. The emerson drop point wasn't feeling that.. I just purchased the 620cf and that one blows most of these new models away. Was expecting more from ZT but i hope they make that up in 2016.

All these new products.... and I'm just sitting here waiting for the Ember.
When will the shuffle II be for sale??
Luis E Rubio Unfortunately we don't have a time frame on that one.
Some pretty nice additions this year. Those autos look great and I'm glad the Emerson isn't fucking stupid chisel grind.
Как всегда гениально. Не понимаю почему 0777 не развивают...

Dude my 0200 will cut a tin can in half then cut a piece of paper. I would call that "Cutting well".
knifelover73 I have an axe that can do both of those also. Try something like making feather sticks where you need control and fine cutting ability.
I really like that ZT0452. Nice long blade. A Real Pig Sticker!!!
But that ring on the throwing knives would make them difficult to throw....
i have a CS ring dagger, but i can not use it for throwing since the blade is fully hollow ground and very thin
Deep carry pocket clips please! I like alot of these new kershaw knives but dang, the pocket clips are crap.
I own a couple of kershaw knives. In general they all look alike.
nice video thanks
0900, 0808, gotta have!
Make an orange shuffle plsss
my wallet is going to hate you & Kershaw this year :) I've seen at least 3 "must have" blades in the first 10 minutes of the video!
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOOD STOP MAKING EVERY KNIFE SPRING ASSISTED!!!
hi bladehq, please get a better focus on the deployment next time :s
i like the launch
I hate you Blade HQ! I already bought one of the new 100yr anniversary applegate fighters! Then I watch this video... The addiction is real!
I just bought the lime green shuffle, impulse control is not my strong suit...
i do not like that the opener button is the closing button seems a bit easy to accidentally press with your fingers in the way of the blade when in heavy use. other than that love the company

Zero Tolerance .... should be called Zero Money 'cause that's what's gonna be left in your bank account after you buy one.
Okay... I am a Kershaw fan through and through but how can any company justify $200+ for a mass produced knife? IMO those are custom made prices. I was more intrigued by the offerings under $60 . I really like the knew RJ Martin 3.0
I am going to pick up a Dune for sure. I don't know why they chose 3cr13, it's a crappy steel. Since I see this as a last ditch defense knife, the steel doesn't matter that much.
Always wanted to spend over $100 for a pen.
Jeez guys, why don't you use the blackwash finish more often?
Seems that Kershaw is the only company who didn´t get the message that costumers want deep carry clips on the knife!?
I was thinking the exact same thing.. They should learn from SOG
Ill keep my knockout, thanks
17:03 oh yeah.. who doesnt like a bottle opener at the end of the handle where your hands might slip to... it will F you wrist and palm up big time i guess... not so impressed with this piece
Implying bottle openers are sharp
i would sa you dont need a objekt to be "sharp" to hurt yourself with if enough force is involved
yeah dude, i cut myself on my pocket clips all the time.
This is why I will not have any money this year!
Kai... Just when I thought I was out, you DRAAAAAAG me back in!!! Hittin' out of the park yet again. 0900, 0808, 0452, 0450... Winners.
ps. And the removal of ZT logo from the blade is the cherry on top. :)
how the hell would you make your blade 4.1? that 0.1 make the knife uncarryable in like 10 states.
If the ellipse didn't have the speed assits I would be all over it
You can always remove the torsion bar.
All tactical and flippers! Nothing for us Brits then? Thanks Kershaw...
ZT pretty much make other maker's line look bad since 2-3 years straith in general lol
Super klass
Out of all the showing of their new knives, all most not at all a mention of their blade steel they use :(
Their website is actually probably the best knife website I've seen, extremely organized and detailed, tons of pictures. I'm sure the steel is on there for whichever knife you;re interested in.
Why g10 textured plastic and not just g10? There is plenty of budget blades and budget companies that use g10, plastic handles make a knife feel cheap in my opinion.
That first ZT, with "beautiful grinder mark" looks fucked up.
I want to see them bring back the 1910 r.a.m and the junkyard dog... Then I would be happy
This camera man was frustrating.
Handle TRACTION and jimping please. Arrghhhhhhhhhh
