I don’t know why Mattel keeps making tails so short, Someone could say its to conserve shelf space, but if that’s the case then why not make longer tails that can be attached? Jakks Pacific Godzilla did it and so did some of the roarivores figures. Anyway whenever the Sinoceratops is released, I like to see how you’ll fix it’s horn, it seems to be too long as many people have mentioned.
Companies like Hasbro and Mattel shorten the tails because it saves plastic.. if they make less plastic per Dino they save more per Dino

Happy birthday Marco hope you had fun spending your birthday while staying safe. I personally think that giving longer tails to the figures not only makes them more acurate to the movie but also adds counterbalence and makes it easier fot the figures to stand. For me this change could really help with the battle at big rock allosaur and thrash and throw tyranosaur.

I just need to fix the mechanism, how can I remove the tail without breaking it?
Mine can not stand straight, just really far up or down. When i try to pose it, the left leg just shifts and the figure falls/goes in the downward position. Any fix for that?

My Indom has a problem standing. It feels like the legs are not connected together anymore. One clicks into the different positions, the other doesn't. The head and neck move with it, but not as it once did. It feels like the whole thing is out of sync. Do you have a fix for that or have you heard anyone that fixed this issue?

Hi Marko! How did separate and open the Indominus? I mean, from all of those plastic parts that fit and are glued and keep the figure closed.

Hello Marco. I have almost the same issue with my son's Indominus. The only difference is that the bottom jaw works perfectly fine and opens wide enough. The top jaw doesn't open at all, does't even move a bit. Do you think it could be the same cable?

My son just got this one for Christmas but it has stopped roaring. It makes noises when the toy is in the mouth, but not when opening the mouth. Any jdeas?

I am 2 Indominus Rex's in as far as purchases for my 6-year-old. The first one had this problem so I bought another one. Now the second one is doing the same thing. I began looking for a way to fix them both and came across your post. THANK YOU. However there is one thing that is beyond challenging - I did the first part - chop off the tail, the second part - remove the button but the third part, ..."PRY IT OPEN".....how did you do that? It feels impossible. The toy would not give an inch and as I am trying to pry it open it feels like it is going to break. What did you do specifically to pry it open? Tools are bending the hard plastic and prying it with my hands makes the tail feel like it will fall off.
Please share....and thank you very much for any assistance you can offer.

Hello. At the 3:00 minute mark, how did you pry it open? I took off the tail end like you but the body cracks when I try to separate it.
Run a knife down the seams until it is ready to pry
@@MarcoMakesOfficial I did that already, top and bottom, but it doesn't open. I've tried a pry tool using leverage but I cracked a small part from the body near the tail.
Are the posts inside the body glued together or did you cut them?

No problem opening the Dino up to the tail after that is to hart to open , any advise?

i wish you showed us how to open all of it, that button doesnt work at all in my Indominus! and it got worse few days later after it stopped working the head fell off from its place and the only solution is to open it up :( you might say throw it away! 😅 but i really wanna try to fix it!

Marco their is a new indominus rex with correct proportions except the feet but the sculpt is insane the paint is fantastic the mouth can fully close the destroy n devour couldn't because they made the teeth weird it can camouflage and it has primal attack and a long tail it is called camouflage n battle indominus rex

The only thing I can suggest is sand it down then re-sculpt it,
providing you have the time, skills and patience.

Trying to repair the Indominus Rex for my Grandson as the tail push button is totally slack. This happened within two months of purchase, but he won't part with it to get a replacement under warranty. As this is the only video I could find on the Internet, I started by removing the tail easily and successfully. BUT I cannot split the body at all, and it does not show this on your video? Could you provide some instruction in this area please? Are all the pegs in the body glued and need cutting somehow? Would be very grateful for your help as no one else has asked about this below? Many thanks, Dave
If it won’t pry I think the best option is to cut carefully through the pegs. Then when you’re done you can glue it back together. Good luck 😉

Everytime I see poeple cutting and breaking figures I feel a little anxious and I could never do that myself :D But the result looks a lot better, I have to admit!
By the way, did you ever make a video on how to make your own wound pieces for the old Kenner dinosaurs? So many got lost over the years and it would be nice to replace them, since they are really hard to find. Especially for the Series 2 figues, like the dark Jr. Rex or the demon
