I really want to see a 2020 quake game just like this, this is all skill, no if ands or buts. It’s the second CSGO that got left in the dust unfortunately.
its on purpose and its supposed to be like this. so u see the last shot landing and usually thats what looks impressive. that last rail last rocket etc. its really important that it IS that way.
Every time I died in Quake, it was because I sucked. It was never because of some bullshit-ass broken weapon. It was never because the idiot who shot me was 25 levels higher than me. It was never because of some stupid perk. It was never about some shady microtransaction. It was because this dude herded me like sheep into eating a rocket and then blew my nuts off with a railgun. Which was humiliating, but fair. And the fairness atoned for my god-awfulness. Every once in a while, I'd get my own kill, and that was very rewarding. Because that kill was mine, and I earned it.
Man the amount of times Rapha fires up a gun without ammo is uncountable, also anybody who said this was lucky from one player or the other had no clue of the game
I don't know what the fuck it is.. But it makes watching a game almost impossible, you have to have your eyes permanently on the 'strenx' or 'rapha' at the bottom of the screen just to know who the fuck youre watching.
Time flies. This was a year after QL came out of beta and was quite popular always plenty of matches to be found in most game modes. Now it's all but dead.
Cool spectacular close game. Real a bit of luck for Rapha, but 3 :1 is 3:1 nothing to add.. I got bothered of one-player finals of recent years where all game 1 player is dominating full match (15 year with Evil,cYphers's finals and so on)
amazing luck by rapha. umbelievable. only in lost world run away with less than 20 health 3 times in 2 min. the he got 4 spawn frags in 1 min. Amazing luck.
strenx got a ton of luck on aero. even the castors said a lot of spawn frags are a rare occurrence in ql. rapha didn't get lucky, he is always in the right spot to escape and fall onto items. strenx is all aim.
Bogdan Danu Luck isn't this magical blessing players have. They can increase their chances of those "luck escapes" with smart thinking and positioning. What? You think it's a coincidence he got those items right after the kill? Rapha does these type of plays all the time, and he is "lucky" because he is smart
Well anyone who played Aero intensively knows that spawnfrag DO occur a lot in this map. And okay Rapha is a beast but please be fair Strenx is far from just aim, his timing is impressive, and his movements are greats too. You really think you can make it to a Quakecon final, defeating Cypher and Cooler, just with aim ? Joke.
he just controls the stacks to precision, he knows x amount of damage will equalize or favor him for area denial and kills. he either looks for that little bit of damage, or he gets with some items. if you always tried to keep a buffer of 100hp more than your opponent, they're always gonna feel like they just barely lost.

6m24 rapha had 1hp when he killed strenx, check it out, rapha is more lucky than strenx. the rat style creates a lot of luck opportunities
