I’ve been watching Ryan since I started my karting career, for the first couple weeks I wasn’t on pace but after starting to watch Ryan and see his tips, I improved a lot with my driving and racing!
I literally feel more confident to drive a cart, during the practice I always felt nervous for spin in a turn, please tell us more tips how to improve the driving confidence!
Not only these tips helps, but you also point out that even for you, a successful driver, somewhat encounters same things we do at communcating karts behavior. Thanks
You're doing an awesome job of elevating our sport with your content! I've been karting for 25 years and have been out of the seat for awhile, so your videos have been a great refresher and love seeing the intense racing with the onboard footage.
This helps a ton. I'm a huge victim of it, I know when somethings wrong, but it's never quite black and white in terms of what it is. One of my friends who races with me has gotten fairly good at tuning this type of kart (4-cycle Birels wooooo). I just moved to a Ricciardo Kart AM-29 2020 this year, and to a new main track, it's a lot different than what I'm confident and used too. He had a similar problem before he really started to get to know the kart and tuning it, and he knew the best way to get info would tell me "where do you struggle the most". Going from there helped me out a ton so far this year, by just focusing on the most prominent problem and whittling down lap times. As a driver, I feel like I just need to think more about what the kart's doing (especially in practice) instead of trying to be as fast as I can all the time. That ended up about as long as an essay lol.
Nice Ryan! You've really improved and up your game on the video content. Much like with a lot of things in life, timing is everything. This video is perfect as we are setting up a 2020 Kosmic (RPG) kart for my son and this video couldn't have come at a better time. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and I hope we both can learn and utilize your advice to the fullest extent!
Hi Ryan, I have noticed that you do not use tags in your videos, I do not know if it is vidiq (an extension for youtube) that does not work properly, if you are not using them take time to watch some videos on RUclips they can help you grow a lot faster
Ryan, how do you think about whether a Kart's reaction is due to the driver or the set up? Am I understeering because I'm braking to late or because the front end doesn't have grip? Great content!
@@NorbergNation I watch your pro tips vids before my races and every time I struggle to get the best of my kart. They help me a lot to improve my racing skills!
Hey Ryan I am a racer in Australia I have done quite well in go karting but I can’t get a good feel on the kart I’ve tried the 3 parts but it sometimes doesn’t work is there any other tips for me to fully be able to report to my mechanic
is it possible that by lifting ( is it correct to say lifting in this case?) the back end I feel that the kart floats a little bit from when i turn in till i hit the apex? I know that it is normal to feel It while braking

Yes! Kart communication is very difficult. I always go back to these tips when I feel lost
I'm not a karter, but wow! these are great communication tips in any situation (business, relationships, etc).
Thanks Jody!

Nice one! Clever guy!
This is actually really important.
Thank you!
Great video Ryan, thanks for the tips. Can you do a video on building confidence in the kart?
I like that idea!

Good Luck in Indiana man! I will try and use this mode of communication more at my race this weekend! Cheers.

This is when you need to try things as a driver. Brake earlier and see if the under steer goes away. If it doesn’t, you have an under steer.
Agree on all points and doing them all :) Great vid!
Thank you!
Thanks for these videos! Greetings from Argentina! 🇦🇷

Do you know when you move into the orlando karting facility?
I’m already there.
What’s the best way to go. Check wherw you can improve more based on telemetry vs your team mates or driver input? Thanks for the video
It depends on the driver. I always like data but video and driver input is better for some drivers.

I’m not sure how to help other than the tips in the video. But try and focus on one problem. Really simplify what you want to say
Can we get a video on OTK front bars sometime? Also these vids are amazing!

What do you think of the praga chassis
I never drove it so I'm not entirely sure
Sounds like my goto "Handles like a drunk pig on rollerskates" is not a good one.
Hahaha that might not be the best description
Sorry to point this out but I just noticed your eyes! (:
Bruh I thought telling my mechanic it don't do was good
Man, why pay for a coach when you can just watch some Ryan Norberg videos lol
Hahaha that’s what I’m here for
