the video is linked in the cards at the outro of this video! at least the one when she previously designed her kitchen in the sims. it took me a while to figure out that sometimes that's what kayla means by "linking down below" 😂
She doesn't link them DOWN. At the end of the video it shows up as cards so you can click them to just watch it. She always does it like that.

this reminds me of the time my aunt made me renovate her irl livingroom in the sims and she actually renovated it like how i made it lol

In the nordics the corner cabinets are more than a standard so the "controversality" of them is so funny to me 😅 It doesn't have to be wasted space, just throw in a rotative metallic shelf and you are done. Anyway I think you made all the right choices it all looks great!
So happy for you! it's crazy that a few years ago you were dreaming about not having carpets in your bedrooms and now your hard wood floor dreams have come true!
Thank you for sharing this experience with us, even though you do not have to nor should you feel obligated to since this is your personal home, it's appreciated nonetheless! I hope the renovation process hasn't been too stressful for you guys as I know it can be pretty overwhelming and intimidating. Cheers to the home you are creating for yourselves!!!!!😄
Thank you for the kitchen update. It's probably the most anticipated thing about your house I've been waiting on. Id love to see more but also respect your privacy of course. I would love to see the finished product of the living room, guest bedroom, bathrooms and the hallway. I know a lot of changes happened with those.

Okay, I'm usually not a fan of coloured kitchen counters and cabinets, but this green is so subtle that I can't call it anything other than perfect for this kitchen. But am I the only one who would love a whole sims build just inspired by this kitchen? It just all works so well together *-*

I was a kitchen designer, and yes that happens all the time. A cabinet will come in damaged then having to wait on that single cabinet really sucked for the customers. Your kitchen looks beautiful 😻

Oh my gosh you were so right. Removing the pantry closet type style and adding counter space - you get the "pantry space" elsewhere. Beside the fridge is plenty realistically and the counter space is NEEDED. the ISLAND. THE STORAGE WITH THE ISLAND. *faints* this is a dream. Also Dan REMOVING THE SOAP. Cute af
I would love a “building my real life house in the sims 4” obviously not the outside for your privacy but inside would be so fun. Your house looks absolutely gorgeous
Our kitchen has a very similar layout (it’s nearly as old as me now but it was renovated by my parents) the corner counter is the best part of it also everything is breaking so it’s exciting that we are going to get a new one when we can afford it so hopefully I’ll have input (I want soft closing cupboards because I hate being woken up in the morning by the slamming )

You have made me want to redo my kitchen. I loooove the way yours looks with the soft green cabinets and light wood floors. My kitchen already has extremely pale green walls, but it has dark wood cabinets and linoleum tile floors, which I liked when we moved in 10 years ago... but maybe it's time for a change!
Your kitchen is absolutely beautiful! I LOVE the cabinets so much!! Green is also my favorite color and I, too, would have a lot of that sage and other shades throughout my home if I were painting, and redecorating. Thank you for sharing the finished renovation of your kitchen. I had wondered how it turned out! Sorry you had those annoying delays for so long!

i redid my kitchen. mostly by myself. a big pain but worth it. I found that the range hood that was installed, didn't even do anything. It was moredecorative. but since i had a ceiling fan in the kitchen, i opted to remove it completely and it is perfectly fine. loving my kitchen now
love and respect for dan putting away the soap, it wasn't needed but it sure was appreciated

I'm living for your kitchen! It's not far off from my own Dream Kitchen either. Sage Green in one of my favorite colors and is actually the color of my living room. Also, absolutely no hate for Target decor. I'd go ham in there if I could. I'm always finding things that I want to take home with me lol.

The kitchen is gorgeous! I was unsure of the green cabinets when you were talking about getting them initially, but they do look great. I know you don't really use CC but whenever you've done the renovations in the Sims videos and you get to the oven and microwave in the cabinets and the air fryer, all I want to yell is there is a cc cabinet that has spaces for microwaves and stoves (as well as some for microwaves that gave go above the cabinets like you were trying to demonstrate), air fryers and toaster (one that actually work too besides just deco). Lol. Anyway, beautiful kitchen, I am incredibly jealous of all of your counter and cabinet space.

dude idk if it’s like a southern home thing but house also has a diagonal peninsula with a sink and dishwasher. it’s so impractical too, like only one of the edges was rounded off, like why do one edge but not the other???

Your real kitchen is so cute. I love it. You did a great job recreating it in the Sims. I love the refrigerator and I have a small steel fridge myself but it is a nightmare to keep clean outside, shows all fingerprints and stuff. Love your kitchen.
