the thing about GOT7's dance practices is it gives us a fixed view of the choreo that we loveee and they also used it as an opportunity to show off their personalities and as a time to have fun with their bros too so I really cherish these videos a lot. I am so happy you are reacting to them!
Don't be fooled by Youngjae's cute smile and sweet laugh, he's very mischievous - so him chosing to dance his own position and letting all the others suffer, so he can watch and enjoy their struggle is very in character. He once fooled Jackson into paying for shabu-shabu by just getting up and secretly leaving the restaurent during a variety show game. 🤣 I think Jinyoung was filming the movie A Christmas Carol during the NANANA comeback, where he plays a character who goes to jail - hence the short haircut and the buff arms. The boyfriend versions are my favorites!!! You think it's gonna be some delulu fantasy and it's actually them just being their chaotic selves. Which somehow makes the dance practices better. My top three are Lullaby (you can see why 😂), the MAD boyfriend for If You Do (the over-the-top dramatics plus fantastic choreo) & the crazy boyfriend for Stop Stop It (them trying to being serious and it lasting for all of like 10 seconds).

You will see that got7 dance practices are so artistic, that's what i love in them, it doesn't got that hard but its so pleasant to see. Also each member has a different style to move, you can see JayB has more body control movements, he was a bboy before as well. Bambam is really sharp and Yugyeom did house dance so he is fast and sharp, no waste of movement. Just some examples.. Each one has a different way of dancing and it's really better that way.

For the NBTM part switch vs, I think Youngjae won the rock paper scissors so he decided on the pairings. He chose to go with the OTPs (according to popularity, otherwise they're all pretty close)- Markson, JJP, and Bamgyeom. Markson- got popular because of variety shows. They were hilarious together. Especially on After School. 😂 JJP- they debuted together and have known each other the longest. Also by default the disciplinarians of the group, though they're both cheeky af😂. Bamgyeom - same age besties who're a popular pairing cuz they're a literal menace to the older guys 😂

Jinyoung has been getting steadily buff since 2018 I think. He had to build abs for his drama He Is Psychometric (though it was a more lean look). After the show, he just started getting more and more into fitness, so he's had those arms for a while. During this particular phase, I think he got buffer for his movie, Christmas Carol (if my timeline is correct) since he had to play a toughie.
