Mine falls so much I've put him in a sitting position and he sits at the edge of the shelf with his legs dangling off like a little kid on a big bench
I've seen that a lot haha. I use sticky tac on the feet to prevent mine from falling over
Yeah he can fall over, but blu tack helps, and bending the knees helps as well.

We definitely need a STAP/battle Droid pack! I mean, it was one of the first Phantom Menace Toys ever made!
The model is a good stand in. Saw it on the fwoosh. Realized i had the model. Built it. Looks great
I really hope they make a B2 and commando figures, maybe even design varients such as the red ones we see in episode 3 or the camo design seen in the first clone wars episode

The Battle Droid is my absolute favorite...💯✔ And I have no shame whatsoever in admitting that Episode I is my most favorite Star Wars movie of all time...👍🏼

Love these figures! Hopefully they do release them with the various paint rankings. This figure has been a long time coming. I’m surprised by how easy they stand up as well. Great review as always! -Justin

You must've got lucky. I got 2 of em and they're a pain to stand, and to make matters worse they're not fitting on the stands I have because the peg hole is too small

I Absolutely Love these Battle Droids! I started out with 2 of them, and like You, getting them into that Folded Transport Mode was Amazing. Hasbro really knocked it Out of the Park with them. I also agree that I wish Hasbro had done a few variants on the Paint Detail, but I haven't let that stop me from getting 4 more of them, for a Total of 6 now. I love posing them and displaying them and keep One in Transport Mode at all times. I hope Hasbro releases More of these Battle Droids in all of the different Ranks and Colors also. Just getting these figures, along with Mace Windu has Really reignited My Love of the Prequels.

@@MikeKaess Yeah, if I see any more at Walmart I'll probably pick up a couple more. I've been lucky enough to get them for $14.92 ea! I might just try a few Customs with the Yellow, Red, and Blue Rank Markings on their Chest, Shoulders, and Head, until We get Legit ones from Hasbro.
When they have a backpack, they are for battle and longer range, while just the antenna is for security and short range

I did the same thing.there were two on the shelf and I bought them both.I’m somebody that doesn’t take them out of the box I leave them in but I bought the extra one because I had Play with it.It is a really cool figure.love your channel

Not surprisingly, I have yet to see this battle droid in a retail store. My area Targets, Walmarts and GameStops have yet to get a single figure from this wave. My collection has pretty much evolved into an online only search and buy hobby, which is a shame because I used to enjoy the thrill of finding a figure I needed out in the wild. Nowadays it’s a pre-order click from EE and 4-6 month wait. But I digressed. Love this droid. Fortunately it’s available everywhere online so I was able to stock up on about 4 or 5 of them. Good review!

I love the B1 Battle Droid. Glad I finally got to have one of these to scratch my Battle Droid itch. I always imagine them with the old voice from Episode 1.

I bought my 4th a few days ago. I have a super battle Droid I'm expanding to 6 in scale pretty soon. OMG, that sad tiny grievous! Glad I got the model kits from Japan. Great review. They need to be in multipacks. Hasbropulse is still 20 bucks.

Nice review. Agree about numbers released. We don't see why Hasbro's not releasing troopers in army building numbers? (both 6" & 3") It would seem like a no brainer? Do you think we'll ever see a 6" scaled Ewok?
I really hope we got some Ewoks. I want a 3 or 4 pack at least. And a glider.

I like the figure but it should've included a stand. All things considered these things are a PITA to get standing up and it'll only get worse over time as the joints loosen.
Yeah when I first got them, I had no issues with them standing. But after a few months have passed, they’ve definitely started becoming harder to stand.
I got 2 as well I can't help it these are fantastic figures.

Kinda random but on the note of Phantom Menace figures hasbro needs to make a young Anakin and Podracer in their vehicle line.

Bought mine yesterday on Bol.com in the Netherlands, i don't know everything about Star Wars like the small details but man i love battle droids... Wish they made some Droidekas and commander droids also ! Really good figure next to my vintage one's !

These are so cool coz they look the best out of all the black series figs. (In my opinion)
i just wish the legs had better hip movements and the plastic were less flexible to they could stand better.

You bet! I don't have the Phantom Menace version you reviewed but the Attack of the Clones Geonosis battle droid is coming in May and I pre-ordered 2 of them. They look really good.

The bendy legs are kinda a pain in general, but I'd rather have that then brittle legs/ figures. At least bent parts can be unbent.

it honestly would have been better to produce this 2 years ago with the release of battlefront 2 and then amazon could have released a exclusive heavy battel droid from the game similar to how they did that with the shock trooper stormtrooper for battlefront 2015

Heat the ankles up a bit with a hair dryer on low. Should loosen them up just fine.

Controversial opinion: the trade federation droids and tanks are my favourite things in all of star wars.

I was today years old when I found the out entenas are extendable, I've had the figure since it released and had no idea XD
I hope Hasbro will also release action figures of the Commander Battle Droid, the Security Battle Droid, the Super Battle Droid, and the Droideka (Destroyer Droid) for the Black Series as well.

Awesome figure even though the review is kinda late lol. All good cause it’s always worth it. In my opinion hasbro should release the super battle Droid and droideka single-carded and make something like a battle Droid variant 4-pack with a Pilot (blue), Commander (yellow), Security (red) and Geonosian (the dark-red maroon ones from ep2), and put the commando Droid in like a figure-vehicle Pack with a STAP or something. Just a couple suggestions. Hasbro, take notes. Oh yeah, if they could release a 6” scale AAT that would be incredible.

Love him, mine just arrived thanks for showing everything! Mine does have a bent foot and leg so it stands even worse or just doesnt but yea. Payed 50€ on ebay, on amazon they are 95€. Wish it wouldnt be this expensive, i would've gotten two

I just got this. I keep them in the box so my judgment may be harsh - but I did not think they put enough effort in the coloring and finish. Looks almost unfinished. I am considering having my droid lawyer sue Hasbro
It honestly kinda matches the flatness of the CGI from 20 years ago
If you think about it,we are in the Star Wars universe.The battle droid toys are for money,expensive and mass produced. Just get some living spray from Dog Man and boom,you have an army of battle droids. Oh wait,get a miniature rifle that has a speaker that makes a blaster noise when it shoots and the bullet should have red bullets. Also make them shoot poorly but not to the point of the stormtrooper aim.

Great video man! ...I don't collect the 6" line but goddamit everytime I see this figure I wanna jump in. I don't wanna be a dick because I know you are color blind but lately some of your videos have had a tinge of green or pink, at least on the parts where you record your self (the turntable/figure detail shots are fine). Maybe it's because you are using the automatic white balance setting? Those tend to be wonky and unstable. Try using the custom white balance option on your camera to create a preset you can reuse everytime you shoot under the lights of your toyroom.

Hey Mike... I have a completely off topic question for you... I noticed your Ocular Max version of Mirage in the background there. Are you interested in their latest release? (Ocular Max PS-01C SPHINX CEL) If so, would you want to trade yours for that version once it releases? I personally prefer the first 2 versions released, but I have the pre-order for this last release b/c I just don't have a version of this mold yet... If not, no worries. I just thought I'd ask. I know some people prefer the more toon accurrate option, I personally don't. I like the original MP-10 aesthetic with the added details.

I got one of these a couple weeks ago and I think it looks awesome for me there is just one problem the arms legs and head have came abit loose after moving them quite abit has anyone else had this issue?
Try putting a little floor polish on the affected joints

Kangaroony 18 rub the floor polish on the joints and let it dry. Just a little floor polish. It’ll stiffen them up.

Might just be me, but my battle droid I got is right handed instead of left like yours, and the left hand cannot hold the end of the blaster to make it look realistic
I just might have to get the battle droids. I never went too crazy with star wars figures but I have waited for a 6" battle droid and grievous for a long time. I just received the two mentioned for bigbadtoystore.com But now there are others. A heavy armed one and and an orange commander droid. gamestop. I too am partial to the droid figures. I think it is because back when all I had was a PS2 and star wars battefront II. I would always verse my brother in split screen. And I always played C.I.S

Great review as always Mike! I would really like to find one of these Battle Droids at retail. It's been bad since the beginning in my area for finding any 6" Black series but lately has definitely been the worst of times. Only about 5 Han Solo's on the pegs at any given store for the last year+. Please Hasbro, people want to buy your figures!!!
