Thank you for doing this build. I’ve always preferred the B-24 over the B-17. And I feel this remarkable aircraft doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. So this video is greatly appreciated. Keep up the amazing work. 👍👍
Dusan, this project literally blew me away! Just amazed at the paint job on the body, you made it look like its actually aluminum versus a plastic kit. Amazing! Even the rivets pop out nicely. Fantastic job!!
Thank you soooooooo much for this inspiring helpful and masterpiece kinde of modell!!! You really inspired me to go on in my modell building career thx sooo much❤❤❤❤
Très beau travail, vraiment... la maquette s'y prête bien... j'ai beaucoup apprécié le montage, les techniques différentes... ça m'a donné envie de refaire des avions ! 👍😊
Negative. Yeah, rivets and engraved panel lines are nice as well as the bomb bay roof but other than that......not at all. Nose and tail turrets have the *exact* same seam as the 50+ yr old Monogram kit. The wheels and engines suck as well. But hey....have fun spending about $200 once you get aftermarket.
Greetings my friend, the B-24 is looking great, it was a shame that it was not featured as much as the B-17, I think it isva better looking aircraft, best regards from Australia, Les
In sims a B-24 is way better than a B-17. It's like the popularity of a Lancaster over the Halifax. Lancaster carries more bombs and gets the glory but it was really the Halifax (which looks like a B-24) that did the dirty work and was better to fly.
Magnificent build! From my understanding, do not build the fuselage per the instruction sheet. They would have you build all the interior sections first and then add them to the fuselage. Do sub assemblies, then add and test fit. This is why I had massive problems putting the 1/32 version together.
Beautiful finish and the model looks awesome. But I dislike how Hobby Boss have those seam lines running through the clear parts of the turrets - that’s a deal breaker for me. Hopefully an aftermarket company will sort this out, along with the other accuracy issues in the kit. And thank you for the tip on the company making the custom decals - will check them out. ❤️😍☺️
Well, we've been waiting for good aftermarket turrets for the Monogram kit for about 50 yrs so don't hold your breath. Yeah, you can get the Squadron or Falcon vac formed turrets but I value my sanity. I just created a "panel" where the canopy seam(s) are and moved on with life. Unless you're a B-24 fanatic, you don't notice anything. With no offense to Dusan, that's what he should've done instead of just leaving that "naked" seam.
When I build mine, she's going to be done in RAF Coastal Command colours. I'm hoping to find ariel depth charges from somewhere. Plus, I live in the hope of finding a Leigh Light.... probably at the end of a rainbow. 😂❤😂
Great build. Looking stunning. Also a fan of Romain Hugault's work. Couldn't see any decals on his website though. Was that just a one off between yourselves? I imagine if he started producing his own water slide decals that they would be popular! Thanks and take care!
Nice work! Lot's of detail, too bad it's spoiled by the two piece turrets. With the negative comments Hobby Boss received from their 1/32 kit you would think they wouldn't do it again.🙄
Do you always put the cement from the outside of the parts while holding them together? I mostly Apple Clement on the inside and then putting it together, what is better?
Just curious. What's the point of painting the cockpit glass separately? It just requires extra masking when you also need to mask the interior of the aircraft, and it's not like it's going to be an open canopy.
You did a great job with what you had Dusan, but that nose (and tail) turret seam is horrific and no better than the 50+ yr old Monogram kit. As you also stated numerous times, the interior detail is nice but 80% unseen once the fuselage halves go together. The bomb bay roof is MUCH better than the non-existent Monogram one as are the wheel wells. However, the main wheels and engines (even with the p/e) are terrible. For about $80 USD of accessories on top of the $120 cost of the kit......nope. No thanks. I'll gladly re-scribe and rivet my Monogram kit (which I've already done) and have an equally if not better kit.

Thank you very much! I am glad to hear that!
..этот канал один из наилучших по обзорам и сборкам копий..
Thanks for your kind words!
GREAT job so far. The "J" model was flown by my father for 50 missions in the MTE, six against Ploesti. THAT lady brought him home safe.
Very, very cool story, You should be proud of him! ☺️☺️ take care and all the best for You!!!
Total respect for your father. A brave man indeed.
@@ScaleModelAircraft Thanks to all of you. Much appreciated. Douglas.
its a shame that so much detail will not be seen. top build Dusan

Thank you very much! All the best for You!
Congratulations on the assembly, it was very beautiful, Brazilian greetings 💪👏👏👏
Thank you very much!
That was one helluva nice finish on that kit. I've never used the rattle cans except for the primer.
My grandmother built B-24s in Ypsilanti, Michigan, whilst my grandfather fought from Guadalcanal to Luzon during WW2.
Amazing, thanks to them we won the war!
You should be proud of them! All the best!
Thank you soooooooo much for this inspiring helpful and masterpiece kinde of modell!!! You really inspired me to go on in my modell building career thx sooo much❤❤❤❤
No, thank you for your kind words! All the best!
Wow, that was an epic build. Hope Eduard will come through with the resin parts.
Très beau travail, vraiment... la maquette s'y prête bien... j'ai beaucoup apprécié le montage, les techniques différentes... ça m'a donné envie de refaire des avions ! 👍😊
lovely kit ! my favourite bomber , I always liked the elegant wing and deep fuselage - almost like a flying boat . Great job Dusan !
Holy Moly!!! Amazing project!! This kit is on my MUST TO list
Thank you very much! All the best!
A fantastic model Dusan, I hope they make a B24D with similar attention to the details.
Best wishes from NZ.
That sounds good, D is always welcome. All the best! Thanks!!!
This kit is leaps and bounds above the old Monogram kit.

Well done Dusan! That's a bog plane!
This kit has amazing details.
Very accurate main gear bays. Only thing missing were the profuse number of lightening holes in all the aluminum joists.
Looks like an enjoyable build and like the finish on it.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you! Cheers!

Beautiful looking B-24 . Can’t wait to see it finished.

Amazing work! Love your videos
Glad you like them!
So glad the old GM/Consolidated plant in Ypsilanti became the permanent Yankee Air Force Museum.
Excellent work!👍👍👏👏
tout a fait splendide bravo l'artiste
Thank you very much!!!
Stunning work once again 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Perfect work 😍😍😍
Such a cool piece of work ✨✨
My father-n-law worked on the B-24 Liberators back in WWII, up in Tulsa Oklahoma.😁
Super quality. Great work.
Gratz. Perfect work 👍👏👏👏
Tamiya rattle-can NMF, very bold, Maestro.
😉😏 thank you! All the best!
Outstanding....👌
Consolidated/Convair always bucked traditional designs. That's how the USAF got the Liberator, Peacemaker, and Hustler.

Beautiful my Friend, Detroit admires your work!
pinup decal look so gorgeous! thanks for the video :)
Nice kit. I'm waiting on a re stock for mine.
When I build mine, she's going to be done in RAF Coastal Command colours. I'm hoping to find ariel depth charges from somewhere. Plus, I live in the hope of finding a Leigh Light.... probably at the end of a rainbow. 😂❤😂
Reskit makes some fantastic resin pieces. Thought they had wheels for the 24.
I think the British coastal command color will be great on this kit ...
Very cool! I'm buying this kit soon! Great Build!😊

honey for my eyes once again...❤
Thank you!!
Nice work! Lot's of detail, too bad it's spoiled by the two piece turrets. With the negative comments Hobby Boss received from their 1/32 kit you would think they wouldn't do it again.🙄
Would you say most of the issues in the video were due to user error? I am considering buying this kit as it seems fun to be build.
Great build! Can you tell me about the gloves that you use? I would sure like to purchase some!
Do you always put the cement from the outside of the parts while holding them together? I mostly Apple Clement on the inside and then putting it together, what is better?
I’m here to see how he addresses the nose turret seam through the glass
Big, beefy wing spar box.
Nothing like needing a pint of interior green.
Especially when a lot of it should be dull dark green.
loveley work - any problems with the wing profile?
heard there were inaccurasies in the hobbyboss 1/32 b24
I haven't seen anything wrong, maby more "beefy" in outer areas...
Master!
Are those decals of the pin up included in the kit?
Never mind. Custom made. 😅
Just curious. What's the point of painting the cockpit glass separately? It just requires extra masking when you also need to mask the interior of the aircraft, and it's not like it's going to be an open canopy.
For me it's easier to place all the masks while holding the canopy.
@stuarthanna2417 But wouldn't it still be easier to then glue it on after the masking is on and before painting?
@@marcranger4596 Agreed.
How much weight needs to be added to get the model to sit right on its landing gear?
Uh, approximately 80-90g, but I might add even more. :P
🤝👍
Top yutube model poster
Yeah, no.
Ok, I am busy
Superbe video ! de qui est la musique ??
Dusan, for some unknown reason, RUclips is not alerting me to your NEW videos.
Too bad the B-32 Dominator got superceded by the B-29 Superfortress.
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe 😎😎👍👍
Aero
Thank you very much!!
🤗😎🤓🤩😇😊🧭👍
why is preperation for painting so destructable 😅

Thank you, well I do have a Monogram J, Revell D, Hobby Boss in 32nd lol... I don't like to compare models that are from different times.
Sry, don't like the decal. Doesn't seem vintage and far too big
