Soo true! As a Sri Lankan i always heard Sangakkara himself mentioned Zaheer as the toughest bowler he faced and he even had tough nights thinking how to face Zaheer! 😅

When you realize Agarkar has 280 ODI wickets & he kinda scored runs sometimes. What a Yorker bowler he was
Zaheer se zyada acha odi record hain actually 288 wickets from 191 odis compared to zaheers 284 from 200 matches... But zaheer was a hero in 2003 and 2011 world Cup. In 2011 zaheer was highest wicket taker of tournament with 21 wickets and totally has 44 wickets from 23 world Cup matches which is highest for india

Agarkar was and will always be one of the most under rated player.
He could have easily been one of the best all rounders for india and would have played a similar role as in what pandya is playing today.

All rounder? Either you've not seen most of his matches or you're just his fan. he was never good at batting, was called "Bombay Duck" for a reason. Yeah, but he was a great bowler. You can not make up an opinion about a player based on a few innings which he played well.
Angad Singh but a few good innings make you to choose a al rounder in addition to a fast bowler....for your kind information he was a great hitter at that time...( now don't compare him with any specialist batsman;-))

Loved to see how humble both of them are and neighbours now. I used to copy Zaheer's action and my childhood friends still knows me for that. Also, whenever Agarkar used to bowl or bat, I don't know why but I wanted him to perform well. Loved this episode ❤️

I remembered when Ajit Agarkar raised his bat after scoring a run following 7 successive ducks. That was indeed a 'wow' moment. One of the unforgettable memories that I have from my childhood. :)

I stopped watching cricket 7 years ago.....but i remember that Agarkar was very close to 300 wickets ...and the ratio of wickets per game was good....him not able to get 400 ODI wickets is kind of disappointing....i dont know if he is the one responsible or the BBCI for not choosing him......

Agarkar looks like David Hussey
Zak realised his capablities in later part of his career. Otherwise he could have been up there with mcgrath or wasim. Probably maturity comes with age and experience but he was the king of reverse swing in his later part of his career.

Zak was my generation end 1990s and early 2000 bowler whose action I tried though m a right hand bowler I love this man contribution all over to team India such a matured bowler whom we can say proudly to foreign countries we have Zaheer Khan from our side so strongly just loving this show with all my 1990s big cricket celebrities
Not being biased towards anyone in the indian team, the new generation team must sit and watch the matches these legends played ! There is a lot to learn other than social media addiction, ads, sledging, sipping unwanted koffee here and there !! 😊
