It's goes without saying Rob is an absolute fucking savage on the guitar.
The biggest compliment I can give Rob is that he is a natural presenter, calming demeanor and absolutely professional, puts some of the bigger channels to shame.

As soon as you jacked that BDH III up to 10 on the overdrive I said yep that's my tone. Simpler the better.

That alternate picking you did after 10:15 was really good. Very clean execution. My fingers get easily tripped up when I play stuff like that. I gotta practice. Those tones sound good!

These sound great Rob. I’ve just gone down the plug-in route myself and I couldn’t agree more about dialing tones. Spend more time doing that than I do riffing!

My pleasure! As I mentioned, I've linked an article in the video description from Sweetwater, on how to get started with interfaces. And that's the first step in getting your guitar into your computer. Good luck!🎸

I listened to all 3 and I thought this one sounded the gainiest, but was slightly muddier in tone. Pretty good for the price point tho 👍

Question. What was that farm something you guys were on way back in the day. Thats how i first got introduced to you guys. Been a fan ever since. Ive tried finding it on RUclips. Cant. Theres also another band who during the cover portion did an amazing job with am 80s classic. What was that show and are the videos anywhere?

I’ve always kinda wondered how an EVH 5150 and a Peavey 5150/6505 would sound together in a mix. I’m sure it’s been done countless times before and I’m sure I’ve heard it before in a mix, but the EVH 5150 seems like it has a smoother midrange compared to the Peavey amps.

    In order:
    1. 5169
    2. III
    3. 6606+
The 6606+ just didn't have the presence the other two had. I'm sure you could fix that in post. Had I never heard the other two, or a/b/y'd them, I would have no issue with the 6606+

  • @wmxx2000
    @wmxx2000 Год назад +1

    It's really a tough call, I think the "6606+" is 3rd and I can't really pick between the "BDH" and the "5169." It's not even #1 and #2 it like #1a #1b.

    Solid video.
I was wondering for a while if you'd be trying the 66o6+ with being a long time 5150II/6505+ guy.
I'm really enjoying these so far, they're great out of the box.
Minimal option paralysis, no fuss, no messing around.
All of the Bogren Digital stuff is great it seems, especially Krimh Drums.
Just the fact you can load your own kick samples is a win for me.
Can't wait to see what those guys cook up next.
