It's goes without saying Rob is an absolute fucking savage on the guitar. The biggest compliment I can give Rob is that he is a natural presenter, calming demeanor and absolutely professional, puts some of the bigger channels to shame.
That alternate picking you did after 10:15 was really good. Very clean execution. My fingers get easily tripped up when I play stuff like that. I gotta practice. Those tones sound good!
These sound great Rob. I’ve just gone down the plug-in route myself and I couldn’t agree more about dialing tones. Spend more time doing that than I do riffing!
My pleasure! As I mentioned, I've linked an article in the video description from Sweetwater, on how to get started with interfaces. And that's the first step in getting your guitar into your computer. Good luck!🎸
Question. What was that farm something you guys were on way back in the day. Thats how i first got introduced to you guys. Been a fan ever since. Ive tried finding it on RUclips. Cant. Theres also another band who during the cover portion did an amazing job with am 80s classic. What was that show and are the videos anywhere?
I’ve always kinda wondered how an EVH 5150 and a Peavey 5150/6505 would sound together in a mix. I’m sure it’s been done countless times before and I’m sure I’ve heard it before in a mix, but the EVH 5150 seems like it has a smoother midrange compared to the Peavey amps.
In order: 1. 5169 2. III 3. 6606+ The 6606+ just didn't have the presence the other two had. I'm sure you could fix that in post. Had I never heard the other two, or a/b/y'd them, I would have no issue with the 6606+
It's really a tough call, I think the "6606+" is 3rd and I can't really pick between the "BDH" and the "5169." It's not even #1 and #2 it like #1a #1b.
The main crazy solo in Samsara was actually written and performed by the mighty Emil Wrestler! Here's a little video of him initially demo'ing it! instagram.com/p/B1ePUlzgX9U/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Solid video. I was wondering for a while if you'd be trying the 66o6+ with being a long time 5150II/6505+ guy. I'm really enjoying these so far, they're great out of the box. Minimal option paralysis, no fuss, no messing around. All of the Bogren Digital stuff is great it seems, especially Krimh Drums. Just the fact you can load your own kick samples is a win for me. Can't wait to see what those guys cook up next.

Ok sold......im getting this for sure
It's goes without saying Rob is an absolute fucking savage on the guitar.
The biggest compliment I can give Rob is that he is a natural presenter, calming demeanor and absolutely professional, puts some of the bigger channels to shame.
Wow bro- thank you!🙏👊🤘
As soon as you jacked that BDH III up to 10 on the overdrive I said yep that's my tone. Simpler the better.
🤘😝
That alternate picking you did after 10:15 was really good. Very clean execution. My fingers get easily tripped up when I play stuff like that. I gotta practice. Those tones sound good!
You know what they say about practice making perfect! 🤘🎸
Just gotta say I love your studio, so clean, organised and stylish. Must be a great space to work.
Hey thanks dude!
This one definitely sounds nice!
These sound great Rob. I’ve just gone down the plug-in route myself and I couldn’t agree more about dialing tones. Spend more time doing that than I do riffing!
🤘
Yup... all three sound great. Bundle seems to be worth it.
I recommend it!🎸
Rob, this to me was the best sounding one, great comparison
I am wanting to go in this direction. And I have no idea how to go about it. Thanks for doing this series. Super helpful. I really like this one.
My pleasure! As I mentioned, I've linked an article in the video description from Sweetwater, on how to get started with interfaces. And that's the first step in getting your guitar into your computer. Good luck!🎸
@@RobArnoldWorld yes, thank you. 🙏
dimarzio sound great ! :)
They all sound really good but I prefer this one. 👍
I listened to all 3 and I thought this one sounded the gainiest, but was slightly muddier in tone. Pretty good for the price point tho 👍

Man, it sounds really good. If only real amps were like this one knob. Just plug and go. 🤘😀
Good call!

In those good old ancient days we used to play in the higher strings :) -Great tone but wish you played some lead.
I hear ya!
Did you use standard tuning here?
Drop C.
Rob! Podrías subir un video tocando el solo de samsara? Es impresionante!

Aaah! Muchas gracias por contestarme! Me encanta tu canal!!!! Vamos por mas!!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
@@perzeus011 ¡Gracias hermano!
Agreed on all bro!🎸
This BDH III sounds much better. Heavier tune. The other amp sims sound good. This is the one for me. Love the features for all three. Easy to use.
Yeah man, I agree the BDH III sounds great!
not sur why but the tone sounds thickest and chunkiest on these out of the three BDH amps
This is a little different than the 5150 in neural dsp nolly
